I found a 05 Goldwing Trike W/Hannigan kit. 88k miles. I know this bike and it has led a very pampered and sheltered life. YELLOW!! Did I mention it was YELLOW?? 24,500. Is he going to get that much? I really don't know what these things are worth. I will get some pics next few days. This guy is very anal about taking care of things. 88k but you would never guess it. He rarely breaks speed limit with it. Matching trailer is available.

We've all talked to this guy. At last, a picture of him. Mujibar was trying to get a job in India . The Personnel Manager said, 'Mujibar, You have passed all the tests, except one. It is a simple test of your English language skills Unless you pass it , you cannot qualify for this job.' Mujibar said, 'I am ready.' The manager said, You must make a sentence using the words Yellow, Pink, and Green .' Mujibar thought for a few minutes and said, 'Mister manager, I am ready.' The manager said, 'Go ahead.' Mujibar said, 'The telephone goes green, green, And I pink it up, and say, Yellow, this is Mujibar.' Mujibar now works at a call center. No doubt you have spoken to him. I know I have.

Has anybody else here tried Progressive's "Snapshot" discount? They give you a gadget that plugs into your OBD port that tracks for mileage, time of day and braking. FYI, they consider excessive braking to be a decrease in speed of 7mph/sec. or more. I decided to give it a try and I don't like it at all. I think its way to sensitive. I find myself rolling through stop signs and hitting the gas to run through a yellow light now, when I didn't before just to keep the damn thing from beeping. I've tried several times now to stop for a yellow light before it turned red, only to have it beep at me. I don't feel as though I was breaking heavily at all. If I broke any less, I would've been in the hit the red light while in the intersection. I think my grandma would've set this thing off. Anybody else have a similar feelings toward these things? Bill OK, I take that back. Progressive counts 21 hard brakes since the 5th. I was told I would hear it each time I brake to hard. I guess someone was full of crap! Way more sensitive than I thought!

Almost since I've had the '99 RSV when I hit a hard bump, the cruise would drop out and the yellow RES light would be on. I suppose this is the clutch or brake lever switches causing it. When that happened all that was necessary was to push the RESUME button to resume the set speed. Today another symptom has shown up. Now when I hit a bump, not only does the cruise drop out, but now the yellow RES and the green SET light come on together and the blue ON light goes out. A second or two later the green and yellow lights go out and the blue one comes back on. Then the process repeats. Pushing CANCEL, SET or RESUME has no effect. I have to turn the system off and back on to get it to function again. Next bump REPEAT....

I have my bike all torn apart, gas tank removed, faring parted. But I can't find the red wire with a yellow stripe on it anywhere to save my life. Here is a picture of the wires that are outside the harness. The first picture shows no red wires. The second picture shows a neutral coloured connector with one red wire with a yellow stripe in it. This is the only red/yellow wire I can see anywhere. Could someone please confirm if this is the correct wire to tap into in order to have my driving lights on at all times? Thank you in advance Chris in Red Deer, Alberta

Last November, since I was recovering from my surgery and no using it for at least 45 days, I had to move my bike to the winter parking. I remember that I was not able to started easily, and after a couple of starts, it come up but also a yellow light show up. After that, I stopped after parking on the right spot, and didn't used at all during this time. Winter weather plus my surgery recover didn't let me be close to the bike to take care of it. Somebody remember what was that yellow engine light? Was not Oil, was the engine but it never showed up in the past since I have that bike. I'll start to prepare it for this year, and before to do anything, I want to be sure that nothing went wrong. Thanks, calperin

I was given some nice LED lights. One of the features is the ability to have them come on with a signal wire, even if off. I set them to the mode I want (e.g., flashing yellow), then turn them off. When I pull the brake lever, they come on flashing yellow, then turn off again when I release the brake. Or they should. They do come on with the brakes, but they also come on with the turn signals. The lights come with a red for power, off for ground. They also come with a blue for aux signal and yellow for ground. I have red to battery, black to ground. Blue to the yellow brake wire, yellow to ground. Should I attach the yellow to the brake ground? Is that brown, if I remember right? I don't mind the LEDs coming on with the turn signal for now, but it isn't what I intended. Dave

I installed the LED amber front marker lights on two RSV thus far using this method and it works great.. The lights you get from JP Cycles have a black and yellow wire.. the power wire is yellow and looks terrible when running up the brake cable.. So what I do is snip the black wire (ground) and solder it to the snipped yellow wire, heat shrink covers the joint and the short yellow wire end. The ground wire gets an eye end connector which I then connect to the attachment bolt for ground. The new power wire, now black, gets routed up the brake hose and wired into the system.. works like a charm. There might be easier better ways of doing it, but this works for me.. However, on the last bike I did this to, one marker light wouldn't lite up so before automatically assuming I had a bad or cold solder joint, I tried touching the ground to different bare metal parts on the bike and sure enough.. that was the problem.. Strange indeed.. on that particular bike, the lower fork wasn't grounded at all.. I literally had to run a ground wire up higher onto the upper tree area to ground the light.. Any bare metal exposed on the lower end wouldn't give me ground.. Just happened that all the attaching parts were shielded with a good layer of paint at assembly time..

on 83. Did not notice when last was working (maybe last year), but just finished fuse upgrade and added running/fog light and stebil horn. Running tail light works. Also added 4 relays 1. headlight and acc bypass ignition key switch(at fuse panel){to limit load on key switch} 2. fog light 3. horn 4. spare, not used at this time checked foot brake switch and have 12v on1 side, and 12v on other side when either foot or handle brake applied. 0v when switch normal. CMS no indication of problem. pulled and replaced both brake bulbs, no change removed truck and got to rear 3 wire connector at brake light 12v on blue(running) 12v on yellow(brake) when brake applied//??4v when brake off?? good ground on black temp jumpered power to yellow side of connector and bulbs worked(sockets ok) semi perm installed jumper from rear brake switch output to yellow at brake housing now all works ok, but have CMS fault(tail lts) only when brake applied Thinking lack of current(amps) to drive brake lights due to corrosion or partial open even though I have 12v at brake housing. Unsure why I have 4v when brake off(corrosion )? Probably need to pull seat (if I can remember how) and check underseat harness, but I am suspecting problem with the CMS(such a pain to pull dash) any other ideas?

Hi, I'm looking for a new riding jacket. My old leather is pretty much toast and was thinking of one of those high vis yellow jackets I have seen and was wondering what people are wearing? Olympia, Galaxy? Comments welcome. Thank you Chris

Well I've always been a person that likes the clean look on my bikes and I like to keep it simple. So I removed a tail light bar and back off module that the PO put on. There were a lot of wires and relays to remove. Now once I was finished I found two wires that I'm not sure where that go. They are at the tail light area and come out of the OEM harness. One is blue and the other yellow and both have male leads. Now every thing back there work. Tail light, brake light, turns, and hazards. I'm stumped.

Posted this on the Goldwing board so I figured it would fit here also. Except for the Pin Strip that will be here this week it is Done, and rides Great, I still have the Speedo, and Cruse issue to work out though. Introducing Tweety Bird It is YELLER Yep it is definitely Yellow. The only difference between the Hot Rod Pearl Yellow Y130P and the Lamborghini Maiecerlgo, Gallio Deep Pearl Yellow is an extra shot of Pearl. In a couple of the pictures you can see the pearl working on the edges of the, and on the tank. http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird92.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird93.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird1.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird2.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird3.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird4.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird5.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird6.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird7.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird91.jpg http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo265/kj5ix/01%20Venture/tweetybird9.jpg

I'm sure a few people have seen this before, but I just found out from a friend of Yellow Wolf's (the rider of the Goldwing) that he was testing a car tire off a mini cooper on the back of his Wing during this run and he ran about a 14 minute time, 3.5 minutes slower than his best on Metzeler bike tires. We went for lunch yesterday from Omaha, NE to Maryville, Mo. Somewhere just a little south of Glenwood, IA we past a bike that at a quick glance, looked like a YELLOW Venture. - Obviously repainted. But, it looked cool. It was going West on the Highway and I was going East so I didn't get a good clear look at it, but the wife and I both say it was a Venture. Then, just 10 minutes or so later I say another one, (I don't remember the color). Very seldom do we see another Venture on the road, but to see TWO of them that close to each other really caught our attention. Was either one of them any of you folks? craigr
