Today I rolled over my first 1k on my RSTD! Yea!

yea... I uh... heh... just lost one of my screws, the top right one... it fell into this slot between the inner right panel, and the outer fairing. Sitting there... smiling at me, taunting at me , telling me any hopes of getting him was LOST... which was true. I could not find our magnet, no matter where I looked, all I could find was our bleedin' (literally actually, it still, ahem, has some blood on it) Mop Magnet... so I went at it with pliers, and ended up knocking it SOMEWHERE. I don't know where, I took enough of the right side off to know, its gone (probably wedged somewhere else only to knocked free when I go ride to Madera today) -.-' I got three screws tho! and my K&N is NICE and CLEAN, but... yea.............................

I live In Hamilton, Al which is 45 miles east of Tupelo, MS, 90 miles west of Birmingham, AL and 50 miles south of Florence Alabama ( trail of tears goes through Florence).... Just let me know and we'd welcome you ...got 2 spare BR and a large carport for the bikes... oh yea did I mention I'm a great cook I'm not much on fixing bikes, But I have 2 trailers and a pickup IF u are ever in the area and need HELP....

So I have a question for those who have installed new seals in their front forks. Have you ever found non-OEM seals to be too thick after installation ? I installed a set of Pyramid seals that came with the bike and I can not get the lock clip in. They appear to be all the way down. The bushing was tapped all the way down but the thickness of all 3 pieces on both sides appears to be 20/1000's too thick. Gonna have to take it all apart to measure, but just wondering if anybody ever found that to be an issue. Yea...I know some of you told me not to use after market seals... just seemed like an easy way to save $40.00.

yea, this is it. Another year has gone by. Hard to believe. Is it just me, or do the years go by much faster every year. I hope you all had a wonderful christmas and Santa got everything you were wishing for. As for me, I made my New Year resolution, (like I do every year) I'll give up smoking!!!. I finally made a deal on a 09 venture raven and red, man she is purty too.. 2 questions 1) Is this a 2nd generation or 3rd. 2) Is there a repair manual on line, I have the owners manual.. Oh yea I'm one happy camper tonight...Might sleep on it...LOL Thanks Scary

It has been a while since I had time to log in. Driving around the clock, non stop. This is the first day I have had a few minutes to relax.
