    I've been reading the posts on modding the cassette. I just want to replace mine. I was able to remove the old deck because the cover was broken. I can't get the replacement deck in because the door will not fit through the inner fairing opening. I've measure it and it is taller than the opening. I've tried it with the door closed and open without any success. Has anyone found the trick to this?

    Hello all, brand new venture owner as of today!! Traded my 86 FJ1200 for an 86 Venture XVZ. I am now interested in installing a stereo and speakers as it appears this was not an option on this model. Looking for any info on anyone who has done the same or has any ideas Thanks Zacman:680:
