Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting. Well, for example, the other day, my wife and I went into town and visited a shop. When we came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket. We went up to him and I said, 'Come on, man, how about giving a senior citizen a break?' He ignored us and continued writing the ticket I called him an jerk. He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn-out tires. So my wife called him a moron. He finished the second ticket and put on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing more tickets. This went on for about 20 minutes. The more we abused him, the more tickets he wrote. Just then our bus arrived, and we got on it and went home. We try to have a little fun each day now that we're retired. It's important at our age.

I finally picked up my next project bike on Saturday. It is a 2003 RSV. Im building a custom bike out of it. It came with a scratch free widshield that i want to put on my 2005 RSV. The only problem is there is writing on it from the salvag yard. It appears like a wax pen or something like that. I am wondering if anyone has had any experience removing the writing without damaging the screen. I have tried soapy water with no luck. I have been using BON AMI glass cleaner and it is slowly removing the yellow marks but has little effect on the orange writing. Any thoughts?

For my new job with Thunder Roads Magazine I'm writing an article about Venturerider.org to submit for publication. I'd like to include some photo's representative of the clubs nature such as group shots at events and M&E's. If any of you have some good shots please forward to me by e-mail to charlesgraham4867@comcast.net I can't give you any guarantees your photo will get published but I'll submit the article and pics to the editor and we'll see what happens.

Has anyone "dug deep enough" into the radio on 2nd gens to determine if you can auto program all eighteen FM radio presets without encountering "duplication"? I've tried a couple of different sequences of selecting Band 1, Band 2 and Band 3, and going through the a/b/c/ automatic channel writing steps......but I keep getting some of the same stations appearing on more than one band. Suggestions? (Please don't say "buy a satellite rig" :-)

No, not the swimsuit!! The odometer works good, no noises at all. The speedometer works no more, after a very heavy rain the bike was out in the other day. I'm hoping things will dry out inside, and I'll be able to keep the Law from writing me speeding tickets!! However, in case I need Plan B, anyone have any ideas/suggestions of how to fix said problem?? Thanks to all!!

I saw this on the nascar website. Should be an interesting book when it's done. http://www.nascar.com/2008/news/features/02/28/kpetty.bike.ride.kschrader/index.html Margaret

Somewhere I have picked up spy-schredder and I can not uninstall it. I even went on their web site and it would not bring up their homepage. It has slowed down my computer and everytime I turn it on I have to go thru a bunch of crap just to get it off the screen. Any help is appreciated and any instructions need to be basic. I just had to x out a popup on spy-schredder as I was writing this. Thanks, RandyA
