Just getting ready to put Bertha away for 4 or 5 months and plan on oiling up all the chrome bits. I'm usually VERY careful about NOT getting oil on anything but the chrome....but I may not have TIME to be as careful this year. How bad would a certain amount of WD40 overspray be on the tupperware?

I am not sure if see foam is or can be used as a gas stabilizer. If it can then I guess that would be the "Thing" to use when winterizing my scoot. If not, I would think any stabilizer from Canadian Tire would work right?

I just read some posts on 'Winterizing' our scoots, and am clear on all concerns except one: Having the wheels off the ground. Now, I don't have any such equipment that would allow the raising & holding of my bike, a few inches above ground so that its wheels aren't making contact with the ground, and I was wondering if it would be all right to place a length of wood beneath the wheels so that they aren't contacting the concrete floor. Please inform.

What are you folks doing for winterizing? Are you filling up the fuel tank and putting in a product like Stabil or are you draining the carbs and filling the fuel tank and putting in Stabil. Or something else?
