I hated to do it because a lot of this work I could have done myself but, I dropped my bike off at the dealer to have a new rear tire installed, new air filters, gas filter, stearing head checked, new battery , stripped bolt removed etc, etc, etc......I am just so behind in things that need to be done around the house that I just decieded our safety is to important to let these things go rather than to rush around and do a half a$$ed job on the scoot myself....changed my rear brakes and the fluids last week and will check the front brakes when I get her back....bought a new shorty winshield and winshield pouches for my baby and Taters bought a new level 3 jacket for herself....I ordered a ram mount and aqua box for my mp3 player and will re-route some wireing when I get her back.....Just came back from bongobobbys to check out his trike and yes, he was installing some new toys himself....Dang, now he gave me some new ideas for my scoot..... *$#*^! YOU BOBBY..lol...now I have more work I want to do on my bike.... p.s. ..... this is cutting into my ice cream time:bawling:p.s.s. yamaha is going to replace my faring due to cracking of the plastic at the winshield..

Yes, As you can read on title that is what I thought I bought on E-bay. A 1998 Royal Star 21" Tall Winshield on Excellent Conditions, as listed and as was in the picture showed on E-bay (Yes, the picture of the fiance in Italy. I know that history). The problem: a melt on one side of the size of a tennis ball. A small scrach in the middle but almost not noticeable. So, If I return it I have to pay shipment twice. If I keep it, I'll feel like an idiot. So, anyone know any miracle formula to try to fix the melted. (It seems like to previous owner impact hardly against something that melted it). Apart of it, perfect. Complete hardware, two slides on the shield. Original plates with Logo. Ah, also it fits perfect on the bike. So, I'll appretiate all feeds helping on this. Lawyer please hold until figure out final status. Thanks :sick:

Since I bought my new 1997 RS I have problem with the small piece of Lexan they call Winshield. I'm 5'10" and it seems to be more a deflector (IT cachs all the wind and send it too my chestt and face). There is no brand, and I'm quite sure is not an Yamaha OEM, since the brackest are more like the National Cycle stile than the originals. Yesterday searching for any mark or logo on the Lexan, I found a code NC136 (A confirmation of National Cycle may be?) but nothing else. Some one else has the same kind of winshield on the Royal Star. This is about 11" on top of the notch for the headlight.. I would like to know where and what to order for replacement before to buy a full new tall Yamaha one. Thanks
