I've an 08 RSV...and I've read MANY of the HID headlight threads on this board, and have one one "basic" question: Is the HID Country 35 watt "Motorcyle HID SLIM KIT" a stable kit? I'm contemplating this configuration: HID Country 35 Watt HID Slim Kit 9003/H4 Bi-Xenon bulb 6000K Crystal White Approx $52.00 Is anyone running this setup? Any comments or suggestions? Thanks!

Wondering if it possible to go with 400 watt speakers. I've found a pretty good deal on them, but not sure if they are:confused24: too much for the venture system?

I am looking to put a audio system on my 2005 RSTD. I am not sure how many watts the bike can handle. I would like something that can drowned out the noisy Harleys that are on the road. I figure a 850 watt system should do that:rotf:. Does anyone have any suggestions:confused24:? I apperciate any suggestions and or pictures.

Hope everyone had a great Holiday. 06 RSTD, I swapped out the stock headlight bulb with the Silverstar H4, same wattage. Nice. THEN, I just swapped the passing lamp bulbs with silverstar H3's. I know they're 55 watt vs the 35 watt originals. I run no other accessories on the bike. Should the additional 40 watts of power be of any concern? My DC electrical math is not working anymore!

Hello all. New to the site so be kind. I'm looking to mount kuryakyn driving lights to the fender of my 06 venture. My question is will the electrical system handle the addition of two 35 watt bulbs ? I'm also looking to change the bulbs to yellow; unfortunately they only sell yellow H3 bulbs in 55 watts. Will the system handle the two 55 watt bulbs? The only additions to the system that I have are the OEM passing lights and a GPS, although I don't think the GPS is a major issue.

after reading yet another post on someone killed by a cage making a left in front of a motorcycle, is there anything that we can do to our bikes to make us more visible. my bike has the 55 watt silverstar headlight, also two 50 watt foglights and the lady that pulled out in front of me said " I DID NOT SEE YOU ". i now also run a couple of bright blue LED lights on the front of my bike under the front cowl to try and make myself more visible. been running them for two years now and so far so good. i have seen a lot of new cars with Halo lights and they do catch my eye. (where can you buy them? i want to add a set.) lets see if any of you out there have tried something that you feel makes you more visible while riding. ride safe

Has anyone installed an Osram, or equivalent, H4 80/100 watt bulb in their 1st or 2nd edition yamaha? Just curious if anyone has and if they had any issues. I installed one in my Harley Davidson Ultra and wow, what a great bulb. Very noticeably out performs the popular Silverstar everyone is raving about. However, these 80/100's are marked "Off-Road Only", but......

Brackets arrived from Squid and now I can't choose lights..My nomad had 55 watt "spots" made by Harley mounted up above center line of headlight which threw the light out well ahead and easily adjustable due to height. Now with the lower mounting position on the 87' and I am sure alot less adjustment angle, would I be farther ahead to use a Amber/clear "fog lamps"? Are you using using fog lamps or spotlights? Pro's --Con's ? 35 watt seems to me to be the choice for the charging system.. Thanks in advance Dave

On electrical issues I can usually trace wires and get things to working, but need some advice. My bike has a 60 watt sealed headlight. It is served by a 15 amp fuse because I just looked. Tomorrow I am going to install a fancy set of driving spotlights and each spotlight is 50 watts.....for a total draw of 100 watts .....maybe not a draw? Just output? If the factory set up with a 60 watt rating is served by a 15 amp fuse,,,,,what size fuse should I install for the driving lights? Instead of hooking into the low beam headlight wire I am going to run a single wire from the battery to the running light power wire(it will be grounded to the frame) So how many amps does a 100 watt out put on a single wire really draw? If using power or watt formula....it is only pulling 9 amps? So really would not hurt to tie into the low beam wire?? This is why high power driving lights can be wired into the existing wires like a dealer does? and still run off a 15 amp fuse?
