I think my scoot has had it's last bath!!! Last few times I washed it things went wrong! Just before Doodle's MD gave it a bath and one of the wind deflectors, by the right front fork, fell off. The good news there is it fell off in my driveway. Washed it before MD in Ohio, the other deflector is on the highway somewhere north of Cincinnatti Today I washed it to go to kbran's MD and now the intercom sounds like the fuel pump is running in my helmet headset!!!

While adding insulation to my attic I found an old U.S. flag (48 stars). It's filthy and has many holes in it. While I'd like to keep it (it looks pretty interesting) it'd definitely have to be washed. Is it permissible to wash it (by hand, the machine would undoubtedly finish it off) or should I just burn it? Thanks for your input.

Didn't wash the bike the whole time we were gone... Needless to say it had layers of bug splatter on it. We've washed and washed the thing, but I there is still some area's on the paint that just don't want to come clean. What would be the easiest product to use to get rid of it? Thanks Deb:think:

Long before I had ever heard of "The Dragon", there was "The Crest". I rode Angeles Crest Highway on my Yamaha 400 and in my Triumph Spitfire. We used to say we were going "flying". Truly one of the great roads I have ever ridden. It is reopened now after being washed out by floods a few years ago. I would love to get back there one day an enjoy the ride again! http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-crest19-2009may19,0,6585700.story
