Just when you think you are done riding for the season...we get one more nice weekend. Didn't matter that I had a ton of things to do at home. Working all week doesn't give me alot of time for chores at home...but then I hear the "B2" calling....wanna ride? wanna ride? And to heck with the "to do list"...and off we go. 70 degrees out, turning into a gorgeous "leaf looker ride"...and then I wonder...is THIS the last ride of the season? Hope not..but weather forecast does not look good for next weekend.

Looks like ( Larry, Joe & I) we're going South of the border into Canada tomorrow. We'll make our way up to Sarnia for the return trip, who knows where we'll go in between both bridge crossings. Maybe Grand Bend. Any of our Canadian friends wanna meet for lunch or suggest some good roads to ride? Any more riders coming speak up now.

Ok guys, so when do we have our first good ride planned? I'm getting antsy sitting here all couped up. It doesn't help that my better half decided to give be a really nice birthday gift and told me she doesn't wanna be by better half anymore. I figure a good ride with some of my friends here should help me get my mind of that and back to where it belongs. Ridin' is great therapy. Bill

Has anyone tried to fit one of these in a current model Venture or RSTD saddlebag? I tried calling Reda Innovations and got the answering machine. Just wanna know how it fits or stays put once it is in the saddlebag.

I admit that I've been out of the loop for a couple of decades. But, during the last couple of months since I've been back up on two wheels, I've noticed something I'd like to ask about. Most of the time when I meet another bike (or bikes) going the opposite direction on the highway, I get a one fingered gesture. No...not that one! It's like they point (forefinger) at the center divider. Like they wanna make sure I know where it is or something. My assumption is that it is an acknowledgment of some sort. Now, this may be a regional thing, but can anyone enlighten me?

Hey Gal's And Guys. Feeling better after my food poisoning and with heavy hart have to cancel Asheville... here I'm. Leaving state of Chicago early saturday morning and heading towards Front Royal VA. Wanna go Blue Ridge Parkway all the way. passing in to Arkansas and heading west to '10 PIP. Anybody wanna see my ugly face at Front Royal for dinner? or maybe sunday lunch / brunch? I rely wanna see our Muffin Talaban :doh: if possible. so let me know. well it's been three weeks since my surgery. stitches are out, have a removable cast, and have very little pain.doc said seven more weeks to go. I WANNA RIDE!!!

So, since I'm new and don't know any better, could someone tell me the difference between the 1200 and 1300 carb. diaphragms? Are they different in size or length or maybe they prefer chicken to steak. It looks like there is no difference to me, but this is relatively new to me. I've had this bike for 3 to 4 years and I love it, but I can't bring my self to pay the ridiculous price for some yahoo to fix. I'm pretty handy and had to replace the stator my self three months after I got it...twice. I'm sure you guys (and gals) covered this already and I don't wanna be a bother bringing up old news but the season is about to really get under way here in Wisconsin and I wanna be out there a little earlier this year. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't win the lottery again tonight. But I was shopping for my new vehicle just in case. IF you won the lottery tomorrow What vehicle would you buy for everyday use. just thought i'd throw this out here.......i used my heat gun to solder a couple of connections yesterday , and it worked great.......the wires were too big for my 100 watt iron, and because they were close to my fuel pump and seat, didn't wanna use the torch..i used a smaller nozzle that was no wider than the connection, turns out, the gun was faster than the torch anyway........

My brother was supposed to go camping up to Madeline Island with us over the 4th of July weekend. I had a feeling right from the start all those months ago that he probably wasn't gonna take it seriously. We're heading out on the 2nd and staying at the Copper Falls State Park the night of the 2nd & 3rd. Then heading up to Madeline Island to stay at the Big Bay State Park the night of the 4th & 5th. We already have the camping spots paid for. Anybody wanna join us? I also have a huge tent with queen sized air mattresses.

Still got the Taurus? Ad claims you are only 40 miles from me. Little more than that I think. Looks good in pics. I'm stuck without transportation and waiting on insurance to say something. Just wanted to know if it was there. It looks good. What kind of MPG? Does it use any oil? I'm a Buick man but got stuck this time if Insurance don't come up with something I may have to buy a Skateboard. I got a good Unicycle!! Wanna trade??

Could someone steer me to the post on refreshing the cannister? I get the gist of it I wanna know if I can unscrew the hoses off the ends to get it out and work on it? The bike is an 89 VR

As far as the on-board intercom system on the 2nd Gens, are the connections the same as for the 1st Gens? Already have a helmets with J&M electronics that plug into the older VR...just bought a newer RSV & wanna verify they'll work without any mods on the RSV. I'm assuming they're the same but thought I'd check. Thanks!
