I bought a set of Burners high performance driving light kits QH-87CD which cost me only $18, and I mounted it on the edge of my Hoppe Quadzilla fairing on my 2006 Midnight RSTD. I wired it in to the CC port of the fuse box behind the lower front right cowling so that they come on with my headlight when I start the bike up. Check out my pix and here is the the link to the the lights on the Walmart website. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Driving-Light-Kit/16680058

Bet you thought I forgot. This was after our M&E with Beer30 after we ate dinner at Volcano. First pic checking out new ride Next pic getting ready for a ride Last pic going for a ride Great color for Kevin isn't it? Goes so well with his eyes. :rotf: Amazingly Walmart didn't throw us out. Of course the little kids were checking him out cause their moms wouldn't let them ride in the store. Margaret

Here's an inexpensive tool I just found at Walmart and used to add lubricant to my RSV's rear shock. It's called The MixMizer produced by FloTool and designed to assist with mixing the proper ratio of oil with gasoline for two cycle engines. At my local Walmart it was stocked in the automotive department near the oil funnels. I found it the perfect device for adding lubricant to the rear shock. As Rick Butler describes in his very informative thread about the OEM rear shock, "Understanding Your RSV Rear Shock", http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2220, I removed the Schrader valve and used the syringe and the included 4 inch extension tube to inject two ounces of lubricant. It worked perfectly for this task without spilling a drop of fluid. Here's what to look for,

Anyone ever use this gas additive? It looks like it contains the same ingredients as Seafoam, but a 15 oz. can was only 2.98 at Walmart vs. 8.95 for the 16 oz. Seafoam. Berryman has been in business since 1918 and is located in Arlington TX.

I bought a laptop to carry on the motorcycle a little over a year ago. Since then its become my main computer. So I just brought home from Walmart a new 10inch netbook. Its exactly half the size and thickness of the laptop. And I won't feel any 2nd thoughts about packing it on my bike for the trip to Cody. It is an Acer D257 with the latest Intel N570 dual chip. Its fairly peppy. Has a 250gb hard drive and a couple USB ports. So far the 1GB memory seems adequate. I'm using my home wifi network with it now. Walmart had the best price I was able to find. The 10inch screen seems fine for email and forums like this.

Mom has been feeling some back pain for a few days now. She's going to see the bone cruncher in the morning but I offered to go get her some otc relief tonight at walmart pharmacy. At walmart, I finally settled on a back-pain rub that sounded good (Stop Pain roll on), got checked out, got on my scooter to head home. Put the bike in 1st gear and lifted my right foot to the peg as I started rolling and the darndest charlie-horse type cramp hit me in my right-side lower back and down the back of my upper leg - Whooooa horsey ! Man I had to come to stop real quick. Got off, walked around the scooter once, got back on and the the sky was blue again As bad as Rachel feels I didn't mention it to her but I hope she leaves me a little bit of that stuff.

For all those who enjoy shooting sports, don't make the mistake of buying Winchester brand ammo. Last week I purchased both 9mm and 22 mag ammo from a local Walmart and it was so fouled up that I would not even shoot it much less carry it for self defence. Bent cases, bullets not seated properly and duds just to name a few of the problems. The 9mm ammo caused misfeeds, and failed to eject from the pistol several times. The 9mm cases were too far out of round and seized up in the chamber. The brass cases were most likely too thin and warped when fired. Walmart, the lovely people they are, said it was my problem and that I had to take it up with Winchester. Winchester has no contact info and when I did locate a number for East Alton Il, they did not answer the phones. Just a bunch of automated phone crap that leads you nowhere. Federal, Remington and CCI are all good.

I was in Walmart yesterday looking for something and stumbled across a "Quick and Easy" motorcycle dryer. It looks exactly like the Air Force Blaster sold by shops for up to $200. I have a friend that paid $180 for his. I knew they were expensive but there was no price on the ones in Walmart. I took one to a clerk for price check and it was only $20, that's right $20. Didn't have to think about that very long. It has the same specs (4.0 hp, 29,400 ft/min air) and accessories that are shipped with the air blaster. For a picture see: http://www.phatperformanceparts.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=B3%2DCD Apparently this is a close-out item at Walmart so you may have trouble finding it. Dennis

I know that I have seen these driving lights mentioned a number of times here as they are sold at most Walmart stores. Therefore, I thought that this review at Webbike World might interest some of you. http://www.webbikeworld.com/lights/platinum-burner-driving-lights/

Whenever I travel, the navigator goes with me,and she's the one who uses the GPS, so I bought a waterproof lighter socket at Walmart (as bad as I hate Walmart, I had a free gift card I had to use). I found an accessory plug under the seat and wired the lighter socket to it with only a few inches of wire. I mounted it to the left rear crash bar with a homemade clamp. I'll attach a picture. We plug the GPS into the socket, and Karen rides with it in her lap and we have a low tech way of communicating. She leans forward and yells in my ear which way to turn.

Well, you all know how technically inept I am....so I need your advice, again. I want to get Gary a GPS for xmas. Walmart has a Garmin 3.5 Nuvi 200 on sale at Walmart on Black Friday for $97.00. We don't need anything more than the basics so I thought this might be ok for us. Problem is I hate shopping and refuse to stand in line at 3 am. Checked on ebay and get get the same thing for around $112.00 which beats standing in line. The only thing is they all say "refurbished". Have any of you ever bought refurbished and would this be a mistake? Thanks again for all you help!!

Well, I was just wondering through the local Wally World and was amazed to see on the shelf...SEAFOAM! I am pleased that they are carrying this wonder stuff! I have never seen it there before, so this might be a new addition. Thought I would share my find! So for those of you that have ask where to find it...check Walmart.

Now that I got your attention let me tell you an amusing little story about what happened today. Ok to set the stage, first off my Son is not the brightest bulb on the tree. In fact his bread has not risen. Well today we ran into Muffin-Man outside the Market entrance of the new super walmart here in town. This was the first time my Son has been to that walmart, he by the way is 19, but not in mind. While talking to MM I told him to go inside and look around, he came back after 10-15 min and when Muffin-Man left we went inside the store. Where he decided to tell me and I quote. "Man he sure smelled good" I'm not kidding folks that's what he said. I asked him to elaborate and he said he smelled like food, I laughed when I realized what he was talking about and told him that it wasn't Muffin-Man, but the exhaust from the Deli inside WM. He wasn't so sure. So when we were leaving the store we could still smell the Deli and I said, "Wow I can still smell Muffin-man and then he realized what the smell was. I couldn't believe he could be so simple and then he said something that made me belly laugh. He said and I quote "I thought that's why you guys called him Muffin-Man!!"
