    Just looking at this '83 on Ebay and noticed the vin# doesn't compute. #50. According to all the service manuals the numbers start at #100, and this is the first one I've seen under that. 270751434135

    I recently purchased a 98 Royal Star, the dealer told me it is a tour deluxe but I am not so sure, it does not have all the extra that I seen in the pictures I've looked at. Does any one know where I might be able to look up the vin# to find out for sure which model of Royal Star it is? I always come up to this question when trying to purchase accessorie for the bike. Thanks:grandma:

    Is the piece of frame that the Vin# is attached to (lower right hand side that needs to be removed to slide the motor out) on the 1st gens interchangable???? ie can I take a lower motor frame with Vin# attached from an 84VR & exchange it onto a 90VR ??? :canada:
