I have a generator which runs on LP or NG. Can it be used on raw wellhead gas like we have run into the house for cooking and heat. We are filtering the water at the pipeline tap but still the gas has some water vapor. Is anybody doing or done this? Is it possible or should I stick with LP for the generator? The well is located on my property so we are the first customer and free gas.

I know it's been discused before but I want to make sure I don't have a proble. I get fuel leaking out of the vent hose under the seat low to the ground not the carb vents up forward, I am under the understanding that it is the tank vent. My question is could this be vapor escaping and then condensing that is dripping under my bike? I think it's a little excessive although the direct sun and heat here in SE GA are intense I am not seeing the same stains on the ground under other makes?

A while back I had asked about a fuel problem I was having. I had changed the plugs, wires, and caps. I ran Seafoam through a few tanks. But I was still only getting about 33-34 mpg. Someone here had mentioned that I might have a float problem and told me how to check for the fuel vapor rising out of the carbs after I shut it off. I didn't see any vapor but I did notice that one slide was not moving at all. I pushed it open with my finger and it wouldn't close. So I pulled the diaphram and slide out so I could clean the carb where the slide moves. there was some build up of something along one side of it and it came clean fairly easy. The slide moves freely now. Now I wonder if I'll get my milage back.

While i am a way from home my boss decided to get my 2nd gen up and running. Today while out riding it it died on him he said he was going along at 55 with the cruise on when it happened. No matter what he did the bike would not start again. While waiting for a ride he decided to check the tank the gauge said it was a 3rd full he opened the cap and says he had a lot of gas pressure escape then all of a sudden the bike caught when he tried it. I know back in the days with cars this happened but i have never heard of it happening to a bike so i wonder is vapor lock what really happened or might it be something else
