Just looking to hear from some of the electrical gurus out here. Monkey Boy's '90 is having a charging issue and I went to check it out today. I did an AC voltage test on the stator and wanted to make sure I did it correctly. Bike running, negative lead of multimeter directly on the negative battery post. Tested each leg of the 3 wires and came up with 4 VAC on 1, 6.1 VAC on the 2nd and 11 VAC on the 3rd. In my head this is a bad stator that needs to be replaced, I'm just wanting to confirm this with more educated electrical brains. The battery was fully charged and installed right before I did the test....give me your opinions.

its a long story so the question is... on the vac line to the vacuume sensor as it should be called, there is a small plastic piece that couples two pieces of vac line tiogether. there is an arrow on that piece that points towards the carb, or toward the sensor??? I have been fighting an extremely annoying problem for some time now that i think may be related to this part and its orientation in line. Im gonna cry if its just a matter of the stupid thing being in the wrong way... its almost always a very easy fix, made alot more difficult by our own over thinking....

Hello everyone, I'm in the process of purchasing a carb sync tool. What I dont understand is the 5 and 6mm adapters. Where do they go? I thought all that was needed was to pull the little vac plugs and push on the vac hoses! Do these adapters need to screw in the base of the carbs or what? Do I need them for my 08 Venture? A buddy has an 1100 V-Star and wants his carbs done also. Will he need the adapters too? Thanks so much in advance for the help!!
