There was mention of starting a new thread dealing with Ponch and his progress by one of our members. I thought this was a pretty good idea and after talking with the moderators, who thought it also a good idea we will implement it here in this thread. Freebird had a good point as many folks have the initial thread subscribed in case someone posts something up. That is valid also and what I will do is leave a link on that thread to this one. I will post updates here so folks can see whats going on. I will make this one a READ ONLY thread, this way we don't get to the point of the other thread with 10's of thousands hits and several hundred responses. I will also let folks know of updates in the original thread and y'all can post to that one. I am going to post updates from when we were 1st able to see David. I've rented a routing/scheduling program for my business for some 5 years before finally buying the dang thing. Now I am trying to install it on my laptop which has Windows 7 and i get an error message. Since I am 9 days out of my annual update subscription they won't help me without my renewing the annual updates for a mere $350. What gripes my rear about the program as well is that after I bought the program I found out that I have to have the programmers permission to use the damn thing through their password verification. And they wonder why I don't want to renew my updates. Aaarggghh!

Is the Lifetime updates for the device or for the person? What I am checking out is a GPS unit that the owner bought Lifetime updates (not you Bob :-)). If I buy the GPS from that person does the Lifetime updates go with that unit, or stay with the previous owner?

Seems like I remember a while back someone posting some .GPX files. Were those map updates that would work in a Nuvi? I just bought a used Nuvi 255 off Fleabay. I'm not sure how up to date the map file is.

Got home from Minnesota around 11:00 last night. Really glad to be home again and am ready for things to get back to normal. Weather was fantastic there and it would have been great to have had my bike with me. Oh well.... Home for the weekend but then have to get on the road again. Probably somewhere in Michigan next week so that's not too far a drive for me. Have some updates and etc. to do on the site and will probably be doing that on Monday evening after I get checked into a hotel somewhere. Nothing major, just some security upgrades.

Tied for first was the RSV and the HD. Even though the RSV is 10 years without any changes. PAY ATTENTION Yamaha. Some updates would put it first and make money for Yamaha.

Well its the end of the riding season, and I said I would give my HD a riding season to see how I like it. Well I decided to sell it, gather my thought (and some cash) and go back to the Venture. If I'm lucky by the time I get ready buy, Yamaha will make a few positive changes and updates. If anyone is interested or knows anyone interested I've listed it on ebay with a reserve of $17,900. Ok, as in every other forum this question is an obligation: "Who has already deployed HHO on their bike?" Someone already had the chance to integrate the electrolyzer system on their bike injecting HHO? Only saw a video from New Zeland with a bike with the system, and a picture from a guy on US who reported to install it on hiis bike. Any updates on this? What about get about 60 or 70 MPG without affecting the engine? Any experience? The ball is bouncing on your side.... :stirthepot::stirthepot:

Well I finally got my update DVD,from Garmin. I also had to go and get a DVD for the computer, so I could use the update, well it was all sorted the new DVD player installed,so, tonight I settled in to update the Zumo 450. When I inserted the DVD there were 2 options (1)Canada Alaska and the border states, and (2) Southern US states. I uploaded the Canada updates first, then I went back on and uploaded the Southern US states. I thought that it all went well till I tried the GPS and I could not get Ontario, so I uploaded Canada Alaska and the border States again, now I cannot get the Southern US States, I could do all of North America before I started with the updates. I know that I have goofed up somewere but I don't no where. Can any of you good folks out there help me out. Regards Keith.
