I am new to this site and have really enjoyed reading all of the tech tips from a vast variety of owners. I'm particularly interested in plugging / removing the AIS on my 2001 Venture. I have read several of the post and was looking for anyone who has done it more recent. Any recent updated tips would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to hearing from anyone!!! Thanks, Jakbag

I just updated my ads to show the bottom side of the Stinger Flagpole Mounts. Giving you a reference to how it keeps the flagpole from coming through the bottom, but also allowing the water to drain and so forth. Thanks for all your interest and phone calls and such. Once again i find myself pulling the clutch to replace those dang pins.I bought my 83 Venture a year ago and this will be my third tear-down. I do recall a thread about an updated mechanism for this staR SHIFTER some where, does any one recall what the part number or year of bike it will update to Thanks

Just in case you missed the post to the original thread, the VRAssistance list has been updated. The first column has been added to specify if the person is a supporting member, expired member, etc. It can be downloaded in .pdf or Excel format from the "sticky thread" at the top of the watering hole.

I just got home from the hospital. Cindy called me home from work because she had a 104 fever and was vomitting. Took her to the ER and they admitted her. They dont know whats wrong yet. I will keep everyone updated. I am off to bed. Have to get up in a few hours to take Haylie to see her counselor. My ladies are wearing me down. Dale

After several beautiful 70 deg plus days, it has decided to go back down in tbne 40's mist rain and generally be rotten. So in my broedom of this raining Sunday I thought I would review the progress made so far in the first month of Venture Ownership and take some updated pictures. First and foremost is this site!! Tons of great ideas, dramtiacally shortened the learning curve on ins and outs of my new bike, plus nmade some great new friends!
