hi all need some advise on #3 coil not sparking. with ponch's help in troubleshooting the coil, all was in spec's but no fire. had to wait till friday and changed out the coil. now the problem is still no spark from the coil. all the others cylinders are working fine. could have i got another bad coil? i got a set of coils off a 2007 rsv from pinwall cycles a couple of years ago and never needed them untill now. anyone got any ideas. i have read all the post about coils going back to 2008, yet nothing seems to hit on my problem. thanks in advance. reguards don c.

I know this is for Ventures but I was wondering if anyone has lowered the front of a 1300t. I purchased a 2009 1300t for the Ghost rider(wife) and it sure would be nice to get it a little lower, 1 inch would be good. I have only taken a quick look at the forks so far( it won,t be home untill next week) and it looks very similar to the Venture setup, without the fairing. Anyone else had a try at this.

Well I broke it!!! I changed out friction plates on the clutch on the '87 Venture and lined up the double notches on the clutch boss and put every thing back together the way it came off and after riding it everything was smooth untill it came time to find neutral and it jumped to 2nd. I kept trying to find neutrol untill the housing that holds the shift shaft broke. I have two questions. What would cause the scoot to have a hard to find neutrol after the clutch change and where can I find a new/used housing. I have brought the scoot with me (back of truck) along with the family to SW Florida to do some riding this week and am bummed. Any ideas? Please help with some feedback. Thanks a bunch you guys!!!!

Does anyone have any idea what a good "out the door" price should be for an '08 RSV? I've tried calling a few dealers and they ALL say "shop around, tell me your best price, and we'll beat it". Well..... if NOBODY will tell me a price untill I'm satnding in front of them with a big sack of money.... how do I shop around??!! Sorry for rambling, just a little frustrated... any thoughts would be helpful....thanks

My son is transferring to Camp Pendleton Ca. form Camp New River NC. He wants to pick up a used bike to get around on while he is out there. He was looking at an 85 BMW locally but i am wondering if he will have trouble with emission laws once he gets out there. In your opinion, should he try to find one here or wait untill he gets out there? Does anyone have a line on something he can pick up when he gets there? I think he is looking in the $3500.00 price range. (And i'm doing my best to keep him off of a crotch rocket...he has no fear and that scares me!) Thanks.

I am glad you got the new ride.I almost started bidding on it myself but did not because did't know how I would have gotten it home. Also I would never have thought b4 hand to make sure I was not bidding against a member untill to late.
