Thanks to KIC for getting us intouch with his father to help us out while we visited old Tucson. The wife and I did 3,306 miles, visited Arizona, Neveda, and New Mexico. Went to Old Tucson studios, Hoover dam, Grand Canyon, and White sands. Got some Bad fuel my first day out. Worked it self out after a few fill ups and some STP. Almost lost a horn and a helmet hook but got both fixed. What a fun week of traveling.

THINKING OUT LOUD. We're thinking about putting together a ride from Tucson down to Mazatlan Ferry over to La Paz and do a circle around Cabo up to Santa Rosalia over to Guaymas and back to Tucson some time in Feb/ March. Trip should be a 2 weeks Great cheap hotels, excellent and uncrowded roads with plenty of thing to do and see with the friendliest people on earth. Come and go as you please the beaches and warmth of the sun are second to none. Camping is also a great option. Let me know. I am gone into the desert until after Christmas. Mull it over. Toughest part is making the decision to go for it. Remember all the gossip you've heard about Mexico is just except for those that love to gossip. Nevada Max:santa:

Maybe this is old news, but I just picked up an E3 for the front of the ol' Venture from SW Moto Tire in Tucson. That size was a long time in coming! Jeremy

Sleeperhawk and I will be westward bound to Arizona on September 27!!!:cool10: I just cannot wait for this trip since we missed out on Fort Collins last year. Two weeks have been allocated for this trip! We should reach Texas Saturday the 27th and leave out on the 30th to Carlsbad, New Mexico and then to the Tucson area. We will be heading out of Tucson on October 5. We plan to go to Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon! I asked Sleeperhawk if we could possibly cross over into California and let me put my feet down on the state so I can color in that map too. He said YES! (So I will have quite a few states to color in by the time we get back to South Carolina!) From there, the plan is to travel upwards towards Colorado and the lower part of Wyoming (have never been to Wyoming) and then swing down through Nebraska, Kansas, and towards home. Since I am not familiar with a lot of the sights to be seen along those routes, I am asking our dear members to let me know what we should try to see. I know I will be taking a lot of pictures along the way and should break my record! Any advice would be sooooo greatly appreicated! Ride safe, Bobbie

Hey Guys: Has anyone installed the right angle LED's offered by Superbright? Both 1156 & 1157 in Amber with the stock lenses? If so do they work well and how fast is the blink rate? I have seen some rockets with leds and they are blinking like a strobe. Don't mind if they speed up a bit, but think they loose their effectiveness when they are blinking that fast. Is it like double time when a bulb burns out or slower than that? Sponge Bob Tucson AZ It's a dry heat!!!!!!!!!!!!!
