I purchased a set of Passenger Arm Rest for my MKII and the hardware that mounts to the VR has some bad rusting and peeling parts. I know that it is like cancer and so it will spread. But I'm not into rechomeing for that is expensive. So I could use some suggestions as to how to best treat the peeling and rusting chrome. I don't know much about the mounting of it yet, but I'm pretty sure that it is on the inside where it can't be seen. I've included a couple of pictures. Thanks for your advise.

I've had a J&M Elite headset on the shelf for some time. Got a new helmet yesterday and thought I would use it. Had some questions so I E-mailed them about noon today. Got a answer already. Haven't cure my problem yet but was really impressed that I got answer on Sat. that quick. Now to see how they treat me on fixing problem.

I am thinking i am not the only one to dislike the location of the ignition on my 96 rstd. Behind and below the seat. i feel like a contortionist. this is a real treat when everyone is ready to roll. and I have to dismount to find the key hole. Anyone know of a relocation kit or a fix to this.?

I haven't seen this one mentioned on here before. It called PRI-G Fuel Treatment. From what I read it's used mostly for marine engines. Sounds really good and it should be for costing about $1 oz. (But you treat at 1:2000.) Here a link to a marine dealer for more info if anyone is interested.

Looks like I beat you to it Jack, although I don't have pictures to prove it... Condor was nice enough to meet up with me as I passed through Sacramento, CA to where I stopped for the night [just north east of Sacramento]. He had ice cream while I had dinner.... then Ice Cream - which was very VERY good ice cream, by the way. I had a 'small dish'... Just wanted to say that it was a real treat meeting Jack in person and he seems like a great guy. Thanks again Jack. If you ever get through Lubbock, or nearby - let me know you are welcome anytime

A very good friend asked me to ride his brand new Vintage Chief from the dealer to his house. He is recuperating from a leg ingury. He already has three bikes (2005 Triumph Bonneville, 2009 Harley Ultra and a 2006 Venture. This was a treat for me, and the bike is awesome. The color light green and cream with distressed leather seat and saddle bags looked great. The twenty mile trip in the cold could have been better, but I survived and it is a great machine.

Not to insult anyone here, I know there are some harley owners that are hog members that are members here too. Has anyone had trouble with Hog members, I have a few friends that are Hog members, but most seem to treat anybody that rides anything other than a harley like dirt. Or is it just me. Gregg

Then they proceded to treat her like a lepper!!!! This turned into a big ordeal with MOM almost getting arrested....Stay tuned for another upcoming rant
