We are beginning to think about a travel trailer. No I'm not giving up the bike and I don't plan to tow it around the country. We're thinking about buying one to keep in Florida near Ft. Myers. Basically I would store it somewhere cheap and then drive down and drag it into a park somewhere for 2 weeks to a couple of months at a time. We've thought about condos and and park model mobile homes but we really don't want the upkeep and responsibilities of owning something like that with fees. So we're considering a trailer. Does anyone know about the R-Vision Trail Sport models? I've found a 27ft unit with 1 slideout that seems reasonable, less than $13k. Is this a decent brand and value. At that price I can try it out and if we don't like the trailer life I haven't lost a great deal. Any thoughts? Thanks, Dennis

I am looking at getting a trail camera used for deer hunting to use it as a security cam for a remote location with no power, internet or anything else. The hunting type trail cams is all I can think of. Small, Camo colored to hide in a tree, made to be outdoors, runs on batteries. motion activated, IR flash for night time. Does anyone have any experience with which ones actually work decent without costing a fortune. If they spot the cam I am sure it will either get shot or stolen or both. Twice in the last 2 weeks bullets have been put thru the shed, took out a front tire and a fuel jug, one just missed the engine. it is deliberate since shell casings have been found right next to the shed. About a dozen shots so far. Would love to be able to hand the police a pic of whom they need to pick up.

Just saw this link. Am I reading this ride, a kit to make the trail shorter? Wouldn't this bring the forks in? I really don't know anything about the topic, but I thought you wanted to extend the trail for ease of steering. http://www.ridermagazine.com/output.cfm?id=2733373

Hello Everyone! Wife and I are thinking of riding the Cabot Trail this year for our vacation. Would like to know if anyone has taken this ride and what your opinion of it is. We have nine days to do it in, our starting location whould be from Massachusetts. We will be doing the entire ride on land to take in the coast line rather than useing the boat trip from Main. Any help or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks Joe & Val

Well, this vacation is about over (currrently in a little hamburg in Kansas) We trailored the bike out from Iowa due to not having a side car for the youngest . Went to Scottsbluff Neb first to visit family then to Grand Canyon. Trail Ridge road was a BLAST. Loved the scenery. Wife road behind in truck and got some video which I'll put on my space later. Only got rain 1 day and it was the day that it was free for everyone... so you can imagine what it was like between the rain and everybody stopping every 100 feet. Anyway, here's a few pics. God Bless. P.S. looking forward to Arkansas and Cody next.

bullheaded at times........now i can tell you that im not the easyest person to live with or to get to go to the dr that is just in my nature but my wife should have some kind of idea when enough is enough. she had 2 days off with a whole list of things that needed to get done mow the lawn fix the gutters swim with the kids etc......after mowing the lawn on Monday her back started to hurt and her first thought was a must be i pulled a muscle. so she goes in and lays down but went into so much pain that she did not get off the couch all day and all night. she took some meds but they did not help. she is still refusing to go to the dr at this point ill get better seemed to be her attutide. so i told her i was willing to take her to the hosptal when ever she was ready....she didnt go...next day she woke up a little better and get ready for the day only to have the pain come back worse then the day before....ok im at work and she is complaining about the pain and i told her to get up in the trail blazer or i would drive my set of double (semi) down our road and put her into the trail blazer. so off to the hospital she goes and ends of having emergency appendectomy yesterday ...you now know why she is so bullheaded ...........talk about scaring the you know what out of me. she is at home and resting and will be off work for a few weeks.
