some advice needed, i used a home made manometer to sync my carbs. i set them all to the front carb. on the left side, is this a very dependable way of doing a sync, the manometer seems to be very sensative just touching the screws with a screwdiver affects it. bike seems to be running well revs up fast then right back to idle. what do you all think. is the space between the coils important? my project 86 is coming along, but will never look like a venture again, i need to get some more room inside the frame and thought i might build a new rack for the coils but being an electrical idiot i dont want to mess anything up....so can the coils be placed closer together, how close, touching each other? i know theres a great deal of energy running through them and i dont want to fry something. thanks for any help!!!

My brother bought a '95 Kawasaki Voyager last summer. The driver backrest seems "not right". When it's set as far back as it will go, it's so far forward that your butt dosn't even come close to touching the back of the seat. When you adjust forward at all, you're almost sitting on the tank. We were just wondering if anyone might be able to explain. It all looks oem to the bike....

Hello all, Wow, these bikes are amazing, they run so well on 3 cylinders, you hardly know one is fouled. It seems that I keep fouling one of my plugs, when I take it out it is wet, then I put a new one in and it runs real well for a while. I have gotten pretty good at touching the exhaust pipes shortly after start up to see if they are all warm. So what is the most likely source of this fouling do you think? D
