    The black plastic on my bike has white splotches on it. See picture. I have tried various cleaners, rubbing compounds, and polish to get it off but nothing has touched it. Is this normal for the aging material and other than paint, is there a way to get it black again? Ray

    But, he wasnt calling to talk to me, he saw the post about Charlene's upcoming surgery and called her to give her some encouraging words and wish her well, he sounded good, it was nice of him to call, it was a pleasant surprise for both of us and Charlene was touched by his call.     Saw this reseach on another section and it sure looked good... http://www.gdlcycles.com/general/PU/PU-12-94470--1.jpg EMGO part number 12-94470 listed several places at $20 This might be a real thing... Has anybody TOUCHED one to see about quality The company DOES show it as a direct replacement item for the 83-93 Venture.

    After two weeks, and six operations, I was allowed to leave the hospital today. My next doctor's visit won't be for a week, so I am thankfully allowed to just rest at home. I want to thank all of you for your messages of support, public and private. While I have never been the most emotional guy on the planet, your prayers and well wishes have touched me very deeply and have helped me to change the way I view life overall. (and for the record, I'm not on morphine now Thank you all once again. Jim
