A long time ago there was this little Italian boy in the fields with his dad. Looking at his dad's hands, the boy says "Papa, you do many things with your hands, tell me about your fingers." "Well, Tony," Papa said, "You see this first finger? You use this a one to pointata what evea you wanta." "You see youa thumb? You usea thisa for turna pages in a book, and your ringa finger, you will use whena you get a married, and your little finga, you use to picka you nose." "And the middle finga, well, I'lla tella you about thata one when you getta married." Well, Tony was satisfied with that and time past. It was now Tony's wedding day. It was a beautiful wedding, just before the bride and groom left, Tony went to have a talk with Papa. Tony said "Papa, many a year use this finger to point at what I want, and I turna many a pages with my thumb... I've picked my nose with this little one, now I have a beautiful ring on my finger from the love of my life, but Papa, oh Papa, what is it I do with this middle finger?" Papa drew close to Tony and said, "Tony tonight you will make mad hot love to your woman many times and you may become tired. When that happens and your woman turns to you again wanting to makea the love againa, that's when you takea your middle finga, and you poka on her head and say, "Go back to sleep you silly woman!"

I just got an e-mail message that my late wife's cousin's husband was involved in an accident in Edmonton on Monday. Another case of a driver making a left turn in front of the bike rider. Be careful out there everyone. Our families don't need the grief. Here's the note. I spent the whole day Tues. at the hospital. He was out of surgery around 1:45 pm. On his way to his room he saw me waiting and gave me a little wave. After 15 minutes of prep I was able to sit next to him. I never spoke to any doctors, none came around while I was there. Tony woke up sometime last night or this morning (April 27) and did not know where he was. He does not recall the accident.. They told him you are in the hospital and you were in a bike accident. He fought to stay awake the whole time I was there and ate a big supper although kept closing his eyes after a few bite and I would say Tony and he would open his eyes and start chewing. He was given a shot for pain, ate well and I left him afterwards. He remembers everything expect the accident. He asked me where it happened and how. Wow!!! The police officer I spoke to said the guy actually stopped as Tony hit him and that saved his life. Thank you Lord !!!!!!!!!! He is also being charged with the accident ( the other guy not Tony). The guy was making a left at the intersection and Tony going straight through. What Tony tells me is that they put a plate in his left wrist as well as his ankle and there are some broken ribs. I want to actually confirm everything with the surgeon Dr. Webber. At one point he said to me " I guess my bike ain't pretty". I said nope and changed the subject. I actually don't even know where it is. The accident happened south of Edmonton closer to International airport in a town called Nisku. I am thinking a towing co, there has it. He has his right wrist wrapped that sustained a gouge of a cut that they stitched and of course his left wrist wrapped. I was amaze at how well he managed to eat by himself although I had to cut his food. He did look fine and his sense of humour was present in a few of our conversations. He was told 6-8 weeks before he can walk. The healing process starts now. He was in good spirits today, just droggy from the meds.

:Sad_0241:Lamenting the death of Tony Snow today. Tony was not only a nationally known TV and radio commentator and former WH press secretary; not only was he a family man, well liked and respected by anyone and everyone. He was only 53. He was also one helluva musician! He could play a terrific alto sax, flute, and guitar. I saw him and heard him play with an 80's band in recent years. He was gracious enough to let my wife take a picture of me and him during a band break. He'll be missed. I know the band, "Beats Workin", will miss him.

I'm looking for a used radio control unit. The toggle switch only works in the up position. I tried cleaning and re-plugging the plug at the back of the radio. No dice. Must be the contact in the control unit. If anyone knows of a crashed '99 and up Venture please let me know. Thanks, Tony
