My daughter and her husband showed up last night out of the blue. She was quiet for a few minutes then she announced that we may be grandparents. Initial home testing shows shes pregnant. In a few weeks she will go for a full Dr eval and testing, but shes pretty convinced its gonna happen. Told her I may have to get a sidecar for the kid now.......I can se it now....Baby leathers for the first bday and leather streamers on the stroller.

I beleave I got,my answer, In a search, But just in case I miss understood here goes. My trailer is nearly done. I wired the bike at the loom under the seat with inline fuse protection. I put the ground on the negative terminal for testing everything works great. With that in mind, should I solder a lug on it and and attach it their or is there a better place. Or does it make any difference. Thanks guys and gals.

After a series of ignition issues I have most of them resolved. New plugs, plug caps and wires have made all the difference. I also removed and split the TCI. The diodes are in perfect condition so I left them alone. I re-flowed the solder in the pin headers and put it back together. The bike fires up, runs just fine right up to the red line. Before I did this I was having an issue of cylinder #2 not firing, and the tach behaving a little strangely. Cylinder #2 would quit, and the tach with it (sometimes). Now it's all back together the four cylinders are all playing nicely but the tachometer is dead. This may simply be a dead tachometer. What I was wondering is whether or not there is any way of testing the ouput on the grey wire from the TCI (tach signal). Is there anywhere else I should be looking too? Thanks

I am a nurse in a school district in Cincinnati. We are just now starting with cases of the flu. Even our district nurse has had it. I just wondered how many of you had had a case yourself, or in your own family. They are not testing here to prove it is the H1N1 flu because the test is so costly. Yama Mama:223:

Hi Folks: I need some help with my CB / Headset project. I have it pretty much completed. From a 90 I was able to acquire a complete CB and radio system which I have been wireing and mounting into my 84. Has been an interesting project and I feel fairly successfull. All is now working except for the drivers headset. I only get sound from one side. After much deliberation and head scratching not to mention testing and testing I've narrowed it down to one pin in the cable that comes from the radio inside the fairing to where I plug my headset in isn't working. Cleaning etc fails to get it working sooooo Does anyone have one of those cables they would be willing to part with?? Wayne

Anyone know any tricks to pass the emissions testing? My 1986 Venture just failed the hydrocarbons test, but passed the carbon monoxide test. It is blowing a little oil out the tailpipe. Thanks,
