Just posting a link for an individual who is on a wonderful mission, raising awareness about cancer, survival, and hope. If there are any members in Washington state that would like to meet up with Terry and log a few miles just let me know. I have offered him a place to stay for the night and some home cooking here on Camano Island. http://www.terrysbigadventure.com/ Thanks everyone! Larry AKA Silverdeer

I had a lengthy chat with our good friend Eck on Monday evening. He has not been on the Forum recently because he and Konnie are still in the process of moving and getting things like the phone and cable hooked up. Everything seems to be going well with the job and their new town. I just thought I would let everyone know he is doing well, is glad to be back at work, and that we should be able to welcome him back any day now... TERRY

For anyone in the North GA area, Moto 400 in Dawsonville will be having their annual Triumph Demo Rides next weekend. I personally love to test-ride bikes and the opportunities around here are frequent. This year, regrettably, there will obviously be no Buell rides at Two Wheels Only, but it won't be long before the KTM weekend comes up on the radar! http://www.moto400.com/ TERRY

For those of you that live in and around this area there are two events you might be interested in. MOTO 400 is sponsoring Triumph Days, both at the store in Dawsonville, and at T.W.O. in Suches, where you can test-ride any of the new Triumphs: http://www.moto400.com/custompage.asp?pg=upcoming5 Additionally, there's a grand get-together of BMW Riders in Hiawasse. The event is actually free and open to the public during the daytime, with a camping fee should you decide to stay over: http://www.bmwmoga.info/2009gmr/ There's a good chance I'll see you at one, if not both, events, but I'll probably be on the V-Star, so you might not recognize me... If you make it to either event, give me a call on my cell at 678-480-8569, and we'll see if there's a way to hook-up. TERRY

Back in Newnan safe and sound, had a great breakfast, then ride to the Micro Car Museum in Madison in Ga. This is a fantastic place to visit, saw tiny little cars I had never seen or heard of before. I dont remember half of the names of the folks that showed, but we had a great time. Terry will be posting the names of the attendees later I am sure. As usual Terry did an excellent job of planning this day and it was awesome. We rode then ate, then we rode some more, then we looked at cars, then we ate again, and then we rode home.........thats what its all about Eat to Ride and Ride to Eat.............. A few pics here. I will post all of them in Photobucket and put the link here.

I spoke with Todd this afternoon via cellphone and he is doing fine! Actually, he's not far from home, after a full month on the road, driving his new truck (very old, actually!) with the Venture along for the ride in the back. We'll likely get a post from him later today or early tomorrow... Terry
