I would like for those of you who use the chat rooms to give me an evaluation of the two solutions that I have installed at this time. The old one is pretty slick and has some nice features but doesn't work from all devices. The new one isn't as slick but seems to work just as well and is easier to get into and out of I think. It will be your call. If you choose the new one called "Shoutbox" at the top of the page then I will update it to the pro version. That won't make it any slicker looking but will add a few features such as allowing you to detach and run it in a separate window, turn the notification sounds on or off, things like that. Like I said, it is your call. From a money stand point, it's not a big deal. I would have to pay for the pro version of the new one but I also pay a yearly hosting fee separately for the old one so for the short term at least, it's pretty much a wash. So lets hear it. What do you want? The other option is that I could keep both but not upgrade the new one to the pro version. Just leave it as it is. I really don't think that we need two chat rooms though.

Federal law enforcement spokesman used the term "The suspect was armed with a vehicle" to justify a shooting and killing of a woman in California. The use of the term "armed" is what caught my eye. http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/09/30/14161155-family-demands-answers-in-fatal-shooting-of-woman-in-car-by-border-patrol-agent?lite=obinsite

Well, sort of. We just made a spur of the moment decision to go to South Africa for Christmas. Leaving Dec. 6 and returning Dec 28. Mary has friends there on a temporary work term in Port Elizabeth and they invited us to come and visit before they have to come back in the spring. So, we have a place to stay and a tour guide. How can you beat that eh?

:thumbsup2:I want to thank Randy very much for using his carbtune on my RSTC. It made such a big difference already. So much smoother. Can't wait to see the long term benefits. Again thank you Randy for allowing me to disrupt your life for an hour.

i have nerve damage to left hand and significant strength loss as well. i would like the collective experience of you all help me decide the best course of action. let me preface by saying i really don't want an automatic clutch setup (at least not now). i can probably adjust the lever to where it actuates much closer to the grip, thereby reducing the length of stroke required to engage/disengage the clutch - does anyone see a drawback or potential long term problem with that? i know there is a ton of knowledge & experience in this group and i am counting on you guys & gals to get me back on my bike ......and thanks a ton in advance. buz

This morning I found out that I had gotten my account disabled on another forum. When I got to someone who could tell me why, they said I was kicked off because my nickname was offending to many others in the forum. I was using the nickname I also use here, (a1bummer). Come to find out that in some other parts of the world, not sure exactly which, the term "bummer" is a derogatory term for a gay person. Who would've thunk?

After taking our first long ride this past weekend, and both of our hind quarters aching a bit, is there enough of a comfort difference between the regular seats and the pillow top seats? This is to passengers too. And while I'm on it, how much of a difference is there between the stock seats and an aftermarket, corbin, mustang, etc. in terms of long term comfort?

Please explain just what the term "Cages" is in reference to. I never heard this term before joining here, and am now coming across it quite frequently. My assumption is that the reference is being made to any four (or more) wheeled motor vehicles sharing the roads with motorcycles. Please enlighten.
