Is this oil ok to use in an '06 RSTD? I changed my oil using this oil and the bike seems to run just fine; however, a buddy of mine has got me paranoid telling me that diesel oils can cause damage becuase of the higher detergent components. Seems like a bunch of hooey to me but I thought I would ask.

Daughter back in school and it must be rough. She gets home sets on the couch and starts talking to me while I'm doing things, suddenly I don't hear her anymore and she was in the middle of telling me how her day went. I walked into the living room and this is what I found.

I had a follow up with my eye doctor today and he is saying everything looks good. Other than a little stinging the first day, I have not had any pain, so I have a bottle of Loratab I don't need. At this point, I can only see images of bright light, but the doctor is still telling me that the bubble in my eye is what is affecting my vision. So, I guess for now it is just a waiting game so see what I am going to end up with. RandyA

We just as well get ready because we are going to be paying some record prices for gas this year. It looks like this deal in Libya is going to have more impact than the one in Egypt. And, there is no telling how much oil prices will go up when the people of Saudi Arabia decide that don't want to be ruled by a monarchy any longer. RandyA

I'm considering buying this Harbor Freight trailer: http://www.harborfreight.com/600-lb-capacity-78-inch-tag-along-trailer-66771.html Harbor freight says this trailer is only rated for 55mph. The clerk at the store made a point of telling me this limitation. Has anyone had any problems pulling this trailer?

Hi, I am from Newfoundland Canada and I am having a problem finding a couple of parts, I recently blew a rear wheel bearing on my 05 RSV, it has been in the shop since the 7th of July, I just received a call telling me the parts are on back order till the 17th of Aug, I was wondering if anyone could help me out in locating these two parts 2H7253150000 (Flange) 903872008H00 (Collar) Thanks Red Knight

When I bought my Venture, I sold my 20 yr old son my beautiful '82 Suzuki GS850L that I had driven for years. Tonight, some idiot runs him off the road by driving in the wrong lane. He high sided in the ditch, and rolled it several times. He is ok, other than a few scrapes and bruises. The bike is junk. It was only about a mile from home, and I was able to ride it home after straightening a few things out. We are all telling him just how lucky he is to be alive, as it often turns out much worse. Gonna be sore the next few days. I'm just glad he's still here. Bad thing is, he's going thru a rough divorce right now, and isn't taking it well. Well after 7500 miles the Venture runs great, no thanks to Yamaha!!! at 600 miles I picked up a miss/ rough run/ pop on accl. After 4 visits to RMC Motorcycles in Renton WA. they finally listened to what I had been telling them and replaced the #1 coil. While this did make a marked improvement It was still not running at 100 0/0. This was after 9000 total miles and a 3500 mile 10 day trip with my brother on his HD. I don't have to tell you how embarrassing it was to barely be able to keep up with him when we we're climbing the mountain passes we rode. So about 4 weeks ago I went to the South Seattle Sports Plaza web site and ordered the #2,3,&4 coils, Two of them we're on back order Hummmm. Yamaha do you have a coil issue???? I installed the three remaining coils. My bike runs great like it did the first 600 miles that I drove it out of the Dealership. My mileage has now come back form mid 20's up to 35MPG on the first tank. So it only took 9900 miles and replacing all of the coils myself. RMC kept telling me that that's how they run. I called BS!!! I belive that the #4 coil was the rest of the problem but I figured that if I am going to have to replace one I want to replace all of them. If they were easier to get to I would have gone with one at a time. I dont have a way to secure my Lab scope and be able to watch the ignition pattern while riding to trace down the bad coil. Man this bike runs!!! its fun to ride again! I am going to step down from the soap box now. Thank you for allowing me to vent

I KNOW ALL I NEED TO DO IS ASK..BEEN AROUND ONLY A COUPLE OF DAYS AND ALREADY FEEL WELCOME. HERES MY PROBLEM..MY INTERCOM IS MUFFLED.. IT IS HARD TO UNDERSTAND TATERS WHEN SHES TELLING ME WHAT SHOPS TO STOP AT AND WHEN TO FIND A REST STOP....RADIO AND CB SEEMS TO BE FINE WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A LITTLE ENGINE NOISE AT HIGHER SPEEDS..NOT THAT I DONT LIKE SPENDING ALL DAY TALKING TO TATERS AND HER TELLING ME WHEN TO TURN,STOP.CHANGE THE MUSIC ETC.ETC.ETC........ SHE REALLY IS MUFFLED...SAVE MY MARRAGE...HELP:feedback:
