This past weekend, on the Central Kentucky ride, the switch that controls the speaker/headphones got a bit strange acting then quit working altogether. When I got home, I took it apart and found one of the legs on the switch had broken off, and because of its size, will be mostly impossible to repair. I wonder if anyone has a spare that they would sell. Either the switch button or the black plastic enclosure that the switch fits in to. I would appreciate any thoughts on a technique to repair it as well.

Even if you don't ski, this clip is worth a view. A new video technique called tilt shift. http://www.stumbleupon.com/su/2pJCXX/www.geek.com/articles/geek-cetera/whistler-blackcomb-miniaturized-tilt-shift-2011017/

I am currently taking the RiderCoach training to become an MSF instructor. One of our homework assignments involved a discussion of "how to setup the bike for a turn". MSF has a technique that involves the acronym SLPR. Slow Look Press Roll. Reference page 21 of MSF's BRC Handbook for more information. http://msf-usa.org/CurriculumMaterials/BRC_Handbook_Vs7.1_noprint.pdf The assignment was handed out on a sheet of paper and looked like this: ****************************************************** RiderCoach prep assignment Report Slow Look Press Roll -or- Slow Look Roll Press 1.) Explain the difference between SLOW, LOOK, PRESS, ROLL (SLPR) and SLOW LOOK ROLL PRESS (SLRP) 2.) Which technique do you use and why? 3.) In your opinion, which is the best technique for the novice, and why? ****************************************************** Any experts here care to answer? How do you negotiate a turn? How should a novice prepare to negotiate a turn? My response is posted below.

Ok, I can't stand it anymore. I can ride year round here in Florida, but the mist on the windshield is killing me. I thought I could get used to looking through it, but now I want to cut it down but I am unsure of the proper technique. If anyone knows, please let me know and I would be grateful. I have most of the tools I think I need, ie. dremel, jig saw, scroll saw and patience. Help please! Sky Pilot

For those that have made adjustments to their pilot circuits... what technique do you use? With 4 carbs can you hear an idle change when tuning each carb? I plugged my AIS and synched my carbs last weekend. I also popped the caps and turned the pilots out 1/4 turn each. Since then the bike is running great but I'm now getting a bit of popping through the exhaust on decel. That signifies a lean condition but I turned the pilots out not in.
