I'm having a hard time finding where I have some fuel seeping from after using the choke to start on cold mornings. I do have significant cracks in the rubber intake manifolds that I suspect my be letting the fuel weep through, and the leak is up high. Any thoughts? -

Hi gang allow me to introduce myself, I just bought a new for me 1991 Venture Royale so my wife and I could go touring 2 up. The Venture only has 72,000km so my thought was uhm just broken in. My other steed is a BMW 1989 k100rt with 125,000 km, my wife just doesn't find it comfortable for long hauls so its gonna have to go. Anyhow back to the subject at hand. There is a whiney drone coming from the engine area. The sound occurs while riding, and occurs when I release the throttle and last until the engine revs are very low, it happens all the time at any speed and in all gears. I suspect something to do with the clutch. This evening I removed the presure plate the friction plates and clutch plates, all are within specs. I have not yet removed the basket however I did grasp it in my 2 hands and was able to slightly move it laterally forward backwards and up and down. Here is my question am I right to suspect that the bearing just behind the basket might be worn or damaged as any play in the basket (shaft) doesn't seem right. Maybe worn bearing, side play affected by the torque of the engine compression slowing down the bike? Does anybody know which type of grease that Yammie uses in their left rear wheel bearing? It's reasonably clear on a new bearing, so I'd suspect that it's lithium complex grease but..... Frank -
Hey Guys, I'm just curious if EBC makes a HH pad for the 1200s? I've searched just about everyone and I can't find anything definite with a part number.....so I suspect not. But if not, what sintered brake pad is available? Thanks, Rick -
I just got 6 old laptops from work that they were going to trash, the one in question is a Dell Insipiron 2500 with Win 2000 pro. The person that used this computer no longer works there and it's password protected, no one know what it may be, is there any way I can get around this and reset the user and password. I don't want to do a fresh install because there are some programs i suspect on there that I want to keep and use.

I just bought a 99 Venture and the light bar bulbs are very dim, I suspect they have never been changed and are wore out so to speak. Was wondering what type of bub to get, suspect H4 and what wattage is stock.Also anyone know of a decent place to order from?
