Here I am minding my own business...attending to my summer vacation plans...traveling hither and yon in my cage...on this particular trip I'm wandering to the upper peninsula in the lovely state of Michigan when suddenly I happened upon this couple... However, stopping to interact with them (you know, save a damsel in distress) was a big mistake and just cost me a lot of grief... [ame=http://youtu.be/lV85Qqj1j_c]http://youtu.be/lV85Qqj1j_c[/ame]

Today was officially my last day of working as a nurse in a school for 22 years. I cannot say I can tell the difference yet. It is still not real to me. I know when it becomes August and I do not have to get ready to go back, I will suddenly say to my self, Hey this is going to be great! Except of course, I will never shop again. Hehehehehe! Yama Mama:smile5:

Has anyone ever experienced a faulty key ignition causing "no spark" to one of the cylinders?? I thought I had a bad TCI but I tried another and I had the same problem. I fiddled with the key (sprayed a little WD-40 in the key slot) - worked it back and forth a couple of dozen times and suddenly got spark! The bike has kind of been driving me crazy with the lack of spark to that cylinder - then - suddenly spark again... Just wondering if the bad key ignition could cause that symptom or not - best to ask the Venture specialists here on the board. Thanks in advance

The scoot picked up some bad habits over the weekend and I don't know why. All of a sudden, the idle is real low, on acceration, in all gears, it started sputterring then eventually smooths out. On deacceration it backfires, if suddenly it sounds like a M-80, if not so suddenly not quite as loud. I pulled the plugs which are all realitively new, like a month old. They all have about the same light covering of black dry soot. Over the weekend I was riding two up pulling a trailor. Got any hints?

Anyone know how to do this on an 89? I find my throttle just a bit sticky and my cruise control seems to keep increasing, then suddenly really increase, and suddenly go right back down to where it should be. Perhaps lubricating would help get rid of this problem. Thoughts?

I got to take it out on somebody and you are a pretty good target.... My radio suddenly stopped working. And I know why. It is Condor's fault. See the way I figure is like this. With that new fork brace on the bike, I have been joyfully entering the curves and appreciating the smooth ride except for the occasional bump or two. Well, maybe a bit more than that, but with my progressive springs, well, can't be too bad. So. Radio suddenly stops working. I think sad thoughts. Ready to start looking for blown fuse, torn wires, bad radio, other horrible options. Then. I see the whole radio insert thingie is sitting lopsided. Press it back in place and wallah everthing is fine. Had it not been for Condor getting us a good fork brace for a good price none of this would have ever happened! __________________

This morning, I stated & warmed my RSTD'97 and after a couple of blocks, once on the highway it start failing, then I realize that all my electricity was gone. No reading on the mileage LCD Display, slowing almost totally. Good think I was on the side of the highway, I take first exit, and stated to see how slowly it tried to get dead. then suddenly power show up. And after speeding a little dead again, and like this a couple of times. Trip marked 91 miles, but when power come back the tank light started to be almost iluminated. then went off again, and this happened a couple of times. After run a couple of blocks back home suddenly everything come back normal. Anyone has a clue what is going on? Did someone else has a problem like this? Any info will be highly appretiated. (Over all because I finally drove to my job, and now I'm 20 miles from home....)
