I need some advice. About a year and a half ago, I got my 1st tattoo. It of course has meaning to me. Its my kids initials linked together chiseled out of stone. Anyway the other day I added to it. A stone circle seperated into 3 pieces, with the kids names written in each section. The names dont overpower the whole thing. I like the way it turned out, but cant make up my mind if I need to add some color, or just shade some of the middle some how. Maybe just leave it alone, as it is. Since it took me a year and a half to add to it, I'm just not gonna jump in and add a bunch of color etc. So I'll probly just let it go and not get into a hurry I guess What do you think.......

Morphine, Not what it used to be. About 1:30 A.M. this mourning , took a field trip to the hospital. Severe pain in my left side lower abdomen. It wasn't stopped up gas in the intestines, nor appendix. Got to the hospital ER......what NO ILLEGALS !!!!!!! They sent me directly to a room and had me undress with No formal invitation. Dropped my drawers and revealed my BUTT , like usual, LOL !! Man I was in Pain with a capital "P". So in with the IV, out with the blood samples, and then the Morphine. Got the usual bad taste and warm flash, and hours later still in pain. Shot #2 .....same affects and wide awake. Got my Birdie snapped (X-Rays) and then the good ole soft drinks for the Cat Scan. Poor Kittie . Up all night , 2 shots of Morphine and No pictures to show you of my little boy. No not what you are thinking , but of my new kidney stone. Now in the whom (Bladder) and just waiting the opportunity for me to turn my head away for the great escape! While in my bed , badger by the nurse to get a Flu shot. I said why not, just add it to the newly acquired med bill, what a few more large bills? Finally the Doc shows up to give me the spill. Blood pressure EXCELLENT ! . Kidney stone the culprit (my first one) and possible Diabetes Type II. Suger fix 211 at time they drew the first blood. Down to 192 at last check before they released me. So now awaiting the passage of the stone, M&M's for pain meds, and meds for possible Diabetes. instructions to go find a Sugar Daddy or Momma to check fer sure on the Diabetes. With all that , I was purely disappointing to get the watered down Morphine. Where in the heck was the Demerol ? In conclusion, I'm tired, fuzzy headed now and then from fatigue, starring at some Reese's Peanut Butter cups and saying to myself NO, NO, NO. Calling: Nurse Yamma Mama .....where are you ? BEER30

My wife and I were comming back from Aiken SC this morning. We had a truck in front of us kick up a bunch of rock laying on the road. We got hit with some of them and one punctured the radiator. Does any body have a radiator for a 2003 royal star midnight venture laying around. We are grounded till we get another radiator.

Anyone here ever have this procedure done? I'm having it done this Wed. to my left Kidney. There's been no pain but blood was in my urine after exercising. Scans show a very large (Dr's words) Kidney stone attached to the walls. I've heard one person say there was no problem and another one who had some problems.

Not m/c related, but do any of you have a recommendation for a hand held camcoder? The wife wants to get one (to put onto a tripod) to tape her dance class, and I am thinking that getting one that would also then work on the bike - maybe even mounting the thing - might "kill two birds with one stone" - heehee. Don't want to spend a ton of money - went onto Amazon - and looks like they have a bunch under $350.00/$400.00 - but if I could even get on for slightly less than that - that would be cool as well. Thanks in advance for any feedback - input.

I'm starting to plan a trip out west for hopefully next spring or fall. I live in N.C. and want to spend about two weeks in the Las Vegas area. I'm planning on hauling my '93 VR and 2 Shadows. I thought maybe shipping the bikes and flying out, or maybe a train could take us and the bikes. Just started looking and wanted to see if anyone here has any experience with doing this. I may just drive and haul them myself. Anyone done this lately? Also anyone who lives or has been out there and could give me suggestions? I know of course we want to do the Grand Canyon and Hoover dam. How far is Yellow Stone? We don't have to stay in Vegas.We want to travel around out there and see the sites. My daughter went with a friend when she was 10 ann says we have to see the pink sand. Anyway, anything anyone can tell me wll be more than I know now.

OK, I put on New Avon's last year about April. And put in a can of " Ride ON " in both front and rear. 8000 miles on them now. Beginning of my SAD story: Around last Nov. 30th, I parked in garage, and noticed a Stone about 3/16 wide stuck in Front Avon, near Center line. This was pure chance, that I noticed it. I pulled the stone out with needle nose, it was about 3/16 wide, and near 1/4 in deep. It was embedded in the Thickest part of the Tread. ( very little wear on the front with only 8K on it. ) Stone was shaped sort of like a Pyramid, and had 3 sharp points. I checked the Pressure, was normal, so at the time I forgot about it. Bike sat in garage unused for about 2 months, except for a 20 mile ride around 3 Jan. 08. Two weeks ago, I go for a ride, and about a block from the house I realized that something was wrong, so came back. Found only 18lb. of air in front. ????? Hmmmm I aired it up, went for a ride, all seemed OK. Yesterday I checked press, it had gone down to 28LB from 45 in two weeks. Hmmmm. ???? Ok time for the Soap Suds leak detector. Then I remembered the little pyramide shaped sharp stone. ??? NO WAY, that little stone was not big enough to go thru the Tread, and the Caseing, Right ?? Put suds, on the wound from the Stone, And all around both sides of the rim Bead. Waited, over 30 min. and WA LA !! The bubble was growing, ever so slowly. Right where the stone came out. Conclusion!! 1. Ride On Works !!! 2. My " Stop + Go Tire Plugger works Great " 3. That little Stone, Should Not Have Punctured the tire, it was not that big. I base this statement on 50 years of buying and installing, and repairing Motorcycle tires !!! ( I'm not a green horn at this.) 4. I need to find out, the answer to this question !! ( How thick is the caseing of an AVON Venom Front tire, after All the Tread is worn off ????????? ) Can anybody answer this for me ?? Does anybody have a worn out Avon Venom Front tire, that they could cut a Cross Section out of, and take some close ups, and post here ??? Any, help and comments are much appriciated. Anyway, I doubt I will be buying another Avon Front Tire. Yes the handleing , and the ride , is great, I agree with that. But being punctured by that little stone, is NOT ACCEPTABLE IN MY BOOK !! I know, this will start a fire storm, but hey, its Winter, and we need something to discuss other then Snow, and the Oil shortage, and now I hear, we have a " Wheat ' Shortage, caused by the farmers all switching to Corn to make " Fake Gasoline "

I came home last evening to tragic news. The kids meet me at the door. Dad Dad the INTERNET IS DOWN! I called repair service the trouble was statewide. We sat around and had one of those stone age evenings.Wiped the dust off the TV and it still works. 4:00 am this morning and were back online. A hot cup of coffee and life is back to normal.:rotf:
