I added 1 1/2 risers and rerouted the cables because they would bind on a hard right turn. I have new cables coming that are +2. In the mean time my throttle is sticking with the bike running. I try it with the bike off and they return fine, with the bike running they are sticking. I did do the driving lights , relay, mod while I had the fairing split. I don't see anything in the way. Any ideas here??

Not sure if this has been covered before, but I was adding a 3 female aux splitter last night so I had to split the fairing. I don't do it that often, but often enough to were I tried to figure out a solution to not have to remove the lightbar anymore. This is what I was able to come up with. Not sure if you can get any longer bolts in there. In my vast collection of bolts and spacers, I found 1 3/4" bolts and 1 1/4" spacer. This leaves 1/2" of thread sticking out. This is also how much thread that is sticking out from the stock bolt and spacer. So this moves the lightbar out and still looks good IMO. Only untested thing is to split the fairing again to see if I can remove the fairing w/out unbolting the light bar.

Just want to say Happy Anniversary Ron. I cannot believe we have had thirty happy years together. Of course, I know we were married in 1972 (You do the math). All kidding aside, we have accomplished a lot in our life together and I just want to say thank you for sticking with me through it all. Of course, we have many years left together. Right? Get back with me later ok? I will wait up. Yama Mama

I need the part that hooks to the spring on the side stand which contacts the kickstand switch on a 1st gen venture. This part has a 90deg. bend in it which makes contact with the switch. One of the previous owners must have broken it off because they were haveing trouble with the switch. I know the switch works but is sticking and needs cleaning and I would like to get this fixed. If anyone has a spare I would be glad to pay you for it.

I was coming back home this afternoon from Edwardsville, IL, and brought highway 48 up from Raymond instead of sticking to interstate the entire way. On the way, I passed an RSV running 2-up headed south. Anyone from here?

Hi there: I have an 84 VR and have installed a CB etc out of a 92. The 5 pin cord that goes from the radio the where the driver plugs his headset in has a plug sticking out the side of it half way down. Can someone tell me what is suppose to plug into that? Could it be a filter of some sort? Wayne

Ok, it is time to buy a backrest. I need your help. Diamond Accessories or Utopia? In the picture they look almost the same. Either one looks like it would match the stock seat. I know how the Utopia mounts but not the Diamond Acc. I think they both fold for access to the passenger seat. Can they be easily removed without hardware sticking out in between the seats? Can they be pretty much universally adjusted, and more important, will they stay there? Any information will be greatly appreciated.
