Hi, My '84 has some places (where the P.O. had some stickers that I have removed) where the silhouette of old stickers is still evident. The paint hasn't faded the same where the stickers had been, as on the rest of the bike. The paint looks newer and shinier where the stickers had been. Also, the top surfaces of my side bags are quite faded, the worst areas on the bike. The sticker spots are on the vertical surfaces of the side bags. Seems to me that some polishing or buffing compound might be called for, but I have no experience in this realm. What do the venturerider experts recommend in such cases? Thanks, Brian H.

Just curious, I noticed many members have the weather underground personal weather station stickers on their threads. How do I add that? I just happened to be looking on ebay and I saw some very familiar parts on there and when I saw the battery cover with the stickers I new it was my bike that the insurance company totaled in Ga. If you see the 86 parts that are tan with stickers on the battery cover that was my bike so if anyone wants to buy the parts I can give a history of them. The engine is for sale also and it does not have 70 something thousand on it because the speedo was in Kilometers so divide that for miles. Tom

Yesterday while riding to my rally site, I noticed a pickup truck approaching fast in my mirror... He over took me quickly and before I knew it, the idiot threw a beer bottle out the window at me....It smashed about ten feet in front of me.. I swerved around it and my first reaction was to speed up to get his license no. THEN I REMEMBERED DOING JUST THAT ONCE BEFORE WHEN SOMEONE CUT ME OFF LAST YEAR THEN DECIDED TO SLAM ON THEIR BRAKES WHEN I GOT CLOSE..Fooled me once, but I learn quickly.....ps...guess what kind of stickers were plastered all over his truck.........

On my recent ride to the Grand Canyon, we ran across a couple towing a trailer behind their Harley. The trailer and saddlebags were covered with stickers of places they'd been on the bike. Key West, Alaska, Sturgis, national parks, even Europe. It was pretty impressive. Has anyone done this? What do you do when you want to sell your bike? How do you keep them pretty? Dave

I would like to get TWO SILVER VR.Org stickers, and as the postage will be more to Australia, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in swapping the two stickers for two of my "Aussie" venture badges I had made ??( see avatar picture) Once Sweetnothing has them ready to go we could swap addy's in a PM and do the exchange :bowdown:

Anybody have a good way to get those factory warning stickers off the fuel tank lid? I tried Goof Off and only got bits and peices of them off. Now it really looks like crap!
