Looks like I will be traveling to Phoenix in the next week or so to pick up my new 2009 Venture S, I am finalizing the deal as I type. I'm looking for information on a stealership or maybe some available garage space to do the 600 mile service, (oil change, rear diff fluid). I will be on my way back to West By God Virginia, a total of about 2200 miles. If anyone has information about a convenient stealership close to the interstate near there, please share that information with me. As is the same if anyone has the ability and desire to host/help for the change, that of course would be much appreciated. I am mechnaically inclined and do all of my own service, but that of course is when I have the facilities to do such. Thanks again for reading, and sooner then planned I am gonna be the proud owner of a 2009 seashell. Chris Parkersburg, WV

I'm looking at getting a couple of new helmets for the wife and I. We usually wear half helmets. We would like to start using the headsets since we have the RSV. This is the helmet we like that the stealership has...I like the flipdown sunshades...Anyone have experience with this or suggestions for another one like it? http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/1/38/6973/ITEM/Scorpion-EXO-100-Solid-Helmet.aspx?WT.ac=SLIsearch Thanks!

Friend has this 99 Royal Star TD, been sitting uncovered in his garage for9 years. He has had out one time, put 43 miles on it. Bike has a total of 1,402 miles on it. I have never seen such a filthy specimen in my life! I have it in my garage now, trying to resurrect it. I need 4 carb kits. ANy one know where they can be bought without going to the stealership? This thing will be a beut once I get the ½" of dust and crud off of it. Dang its good to have friends who own stuff they either don't want or are scared of.

I was cleaning the contacts for the front brake stop light switch and when I put it back together and gave it a test, the cover wasn't on tightly and the spring popped it off! I have been looking at a parts diagram but I can't find the part number anywhere, or even see it on a diagram! I'll have to go to the stealership in the morning to see if I can order one, but I find they can be a little slack when it comes to searching for things like this. Anyone have a clue? Thanks

Now that I finally have a garage again, and someplace to spread parts out, the moneypit is stripped and awaiting paint. While everything is off I figured I would try to see why the suspension kept loosing air pressure. What I found is a crack in the back side of the air dryer or I guess it's also called the desicant canister. I looked in the local stealership parts fiche, they show it in the drawing, but don't even have a part #. Will one off a newer bike fit, or does anyone have one laying around that will fit my '89?
