After reading the Clutch Upgrade in the tech section, I have a few questions. Bike is 2007 RSV with 29,000 miles 1. If left stock, how many friction plates? I gather the upgrade is 6? 2. Is the "wire" something that has a part number and comes from the stealer? 3. Can a heaveier spring be put in with out the entire upgrade and would that even be worth it? 4. What is the cost of the keeping stock parts vs. the upgrade? Thanks guys.

This is great dealing with my stealer. My rear shock started dumping oil this weekend annd after talking to my Stealer he said ( we can replace it but it takes most of the day and they have to remove everything rear of the gas tank to replace it ) Like I want them working on my Ride !!!!! I told them its a 30 min. job and nothing has to be removed but the saddle bag and the shock. I guess I need to show them how to replace one. I HATE DEALING WITH PEOPLE THAT DON"T KNOW HOW TO WORK ON THESE BIKES !!!

I have lost my passenger push to talk switch...It seems to me i remember a post on here that had a yamaha part number that some dealer had found for them .........The stealer is balking some about replacing the whole unit .....I would just as soon get a knob if one is aviable...

Stopped by Honda of Jax today to buy a tube of moly 60 paste. They had only one left and it was resealed sloppily with tape, the cap covering the tube was askew and there was grease marks on the tube. I asked if they had any more in the back as I know this is a standard ploy to only display something they want to get rid of before they put out the good stuff. They said no. One of the mechanics came over and said that sometimes they might run out of their stock in the rear and might open up a tube and take a "dab" from it then reseal it. Told them that i wasnt too comfy paying full retail (15.99) for an open and obviously used package. They just shrugged their sholders and I walked out. Now im pretty sure that there was nothing wrong with the grease itself, but I sure didnt like the way the dealers retail staff handles their product and customers. Sorry guys, but im no idiot.

For months now in various cycle magazines Honda has adds of this guy on a bike in a leather jacket. In the latest Rider it's on the inside cover. You can only see the back of the jacket. Elbow patches, expansion accordion gussets wide kidney belt etc... At first, I liked it and tried to find it, no success..... Then I REALY liked it! Searched all the catalogs, called the local Honda stealer (What an a**hole!) Nothing!!! Come on guys !! Help me here!!! This thing has gone from like to lust!!! I have got to find out who makes this thing!!!! :crying:

I love my 07 Venture but I hate the sound of the exhaust. Sounds like it's missing all the time. I'm thinking of drilling some holes in the rear of the exhaust. The local stealer mechanic says it shouldn't cause any carb problems of any kind. I'd appreciate any info you can give me. Eddie:bighug:

I stopped by the local stealer today to see the salesman. They have a 2000 mm on the floor it has 26k miles a Barons tach visors on the lights including rear signals it is pinstriped and has a trunk rack, the price on it is $8995. I know the guy who owned it, he traded it on a Stratoliner. The stealer is Pocono Motorsports #570-646-1515.

Halfway thru a ride today on my 06 rsmv I noticed the top half of my cb antenna gone. The black plastic part looks like it broke off. The stealer said they could replace it for $100+. anyone else had this problem? Is this covered under warranty? Thanks
