    Hi All, Currently riding a 2001 Honda ST1100. I love some aspects of the bike, but my aging back isn't liking the riding position as much as it might when I was younger. Also, after about 200km, my lovely wife was somewhat 'sit disadvantaged' when she got off. So, I'm checking out the Venture. Around these parts, they seem to be a great deal compared to a GoldWing - and I've never warmed up to wings. Any one else make a similar change? Thanks all, Keith

    Guys, Just got an 03 RSV this weekend. Coming off of an ST1100. I know the RSV is supposed to be smoother than a Vtwin but I've never been on a vtwin, but comparing to the V4 on the ST1100, the RSV has a lot (compared to the St1100) of vibration when you roll-on the power hard. Is this normal? The PO told me he has done all of mods on this site, synced carbs, replaced all fluids, new tires and brakes. Thanks, and I look forward to exploring this site and all of wisdom that has been shared.

    My last ride?

    Guest posted a topic in Safety and Education

    Today a couple buddies invited me to do a nice ride up in the north central part of PA - which I did. We were two up - other 3 one up - a sportster, BMW something or other and ST1100. I guess I am wussy, but hitting a mountain twisty at 125 mph (the ST1100) is not my style of riding at all. I did not even want to keep up. I hated to make them wait somewhere for me, but that kind of riding is not for me thank you very much. Plus I was not getting set up right for the curves anyhow today, must be a Zen thing. So. I took my time. Now - I think this will be my last ride with these guys, even though I like them a lot. What do you think?
