My 08 venture, when ever I ride in the rain or wash my bike the right rear cilinder stops firing. blow off the cap & around the plug & it starts fireing again. I have checked the drain hole it is open so that is not it.what else ? I am thinking that the rubber on the cap is not sealing. so I put some grease in the cap & put silacone around all the places where the wires and ruber boots splice. Havent tryed to wash it sence. the silacone isn't dry yet. so dont know if it helped yet. thank you for your input!!!

I've read about a couple of different places to splice in the trailer light pig-tail, but I still have one question. What do you use to do the splice. Those squeeze together quick splices, or bare wires with a heat shrink tubing cover?? I have a 5 wire on the trailer to match what's on the bike so I think a plug and play is out if anyone even makes one...

I'm looking at placing the antenna/radio part at the back of my bike. I would run the cable under the seat. Problem: I like to take this with me in my car as well. Question: Can I splice a connector in the cable? Something like a PL259, male and female. Thanks

I'll be picking my new '07 RSV up next week and will have to splice into the electrical system in several places to connect lights and accessories. In the past I have used the scotch-loc type connectors but never felt that was the best method. Is there a better method? Also, where can I get a connector that will mate up with the 12V accessory plug under the seat? Thanks, DT
