  1. ..... to show my pride in my oldest son.
  2. My Daughter-in-law has been pregnant of 41 weeks now and the Doctors said it's time to evict the soon to be Granddaughter. Doctors have been telling them longer then 41 weeks can be an added danger. My son just called from the hospital and they are ready to induce labor. Son said they are giving her something that is 30% effective in inducing labor and if something doesn't happen tonight they will give her something stronger tomorrow. There has been no signs of problems with the baby or Mother. Picture was taken yesterday. Praying all goes well.
  3. http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2012/12/24/legendary-actor-jack-klugman-dies-at-0/ LOS ANGELES – Jack Klugman, the prolific, craggy-faced character actor and regular guy who was loved by millions as the messy one in TV's "The Odd Couple" and the crime-fighting coroner in "Quincy, M.E.," died Monday, a son said. He was 90. Klugman, who lost his voice to throat cancer in the 1980s and trained himself to speak again, died with his wife at his side. "He had a great life and he enjoyed every moment of it and he would encourage others to do the same," son Adam Klugman said. Adam Klugman said he was spending Christmas with his brother, David, and their families. Their father had been convalescing for some time but had apparently died suddenly and they were not sure of the exact cause. 4. Rode with #1 son to pick up new chair for #2 son from daughter-in-law for Christmas. The chair is nice. BUT THE BOX IT CAME IN IS HUGE. I can't wait for the grandkids to show up in a few days. The best toy is a big box to play in, they're going to have a blast playing with this thing.

  6. A father buys a lie detector robot that slaps people when they lie. He decides to test it out at dinner one night. The father asks his son what he did that day. The son says, "I did some schoolwork." The robot slaps the son. The son says, "Ok, Ok. I was at a friend's house watching movies." Dad asks, "What movie did you watch?" Son says, "Toy Story." The robot slaps the son. Son says, "Ok, Ok we were watching porn." Dad says, "What? At your age I didn't even know what porn was!" The robot slaps the father. Mom laughs and says, "Well, he certainly is your son!" The robot slaps the mother. P.S. ROBOT for Sale
  7. Well my Son got Married today in a somewhat small (around 60 guests) but nice ceremony with a reception afterwards. Quite interesting, an American wedding but She is Romanian and most of her relatives didn't speak much English so they got her three young (10-12) nephews to be ushers because they spoke both languages the best. OH I'm going to be a Grandpa also, they set the wedding date long before they found out, She is only around 6 weeks along. She changed out of her wedding dress before I took this picture.
  8. I was wondring if anyone has looked into or even tried one of these batteries. I was talking to someone today and their son bought one. He was saying we can't get them in Canada. From what I've read they seem like a god idea. http://sepbatteries.com/super-b-2600-lithium-battery
  9. My boys (ages 20 and 17) just took the Motorcycle Safety Course this weekend. So now that they passed, it will be time to look for bikes. My oldest wants my RSTD thats been sitting in the garage. I think he would be able to handle it, hes a big kid (6' 3" and 190 pounds) and really level headed. But still it would make me nervous. My other son isnt as big, only about 5' 9" and 130 pounds. So I am going to have to find something to fit him. Maybe in the 500 to 650 range. Let the fun begin in the hunt for the right bike! I'm really looking forward to some rides with my boys!!!!
  10. I had to take my son's hamster to the vet. Here's what happened: Just after dinner one night, my son came up to tell me there was "something wrong" with one of the two hamsters he holds prisoner in his room. "He's just lying there looking sick," he told me. "Oldest trick in the book," I informed him. "You go in to see what's wrong with the sick one and the other one sneaks up behind you and bonks you on the head. Then they change into your clothes and escape." "I'm serious, Dad. Can you help?" I put a hamster-healer expression on my face and followed him into his bedroom. One of the little rodents was indeed lying on his back, looking distressed. I immediately knew what to do. "Honey," I called to my wife, "come look at the hamster!" "Oh, my gosh," my wife diagnosed after a minute. "She's having babies." "What?" my son demanded. "But their names are Bert and Ernie!" I was equally outraged. "Hey, how can that be? I thought we said we didn't want them to reproduce," I accused my wife. "Well, what did you want me to do, post a sign in their cage?" she inquired sarcastically. "No, but you were supposed to get two boys!" I reminded her. "Yeah, Bert and Ernie!" my son agreed. "Well, it was a little hard to tell," she informed us. By now the rest of the family had gathered to see what was going on. I shrugged, deciding to make the best of it. "Kids, this is going to be a wondrous experience," I announced. "We're about to witness the miracle of birth." "Gross!" they shrieked. "Great; what are we going to do with a litter of tiny little hamster babies?" my wife wanted to know. "Well, when my parents' dog had puppies, I took them up to the grocery store in a cardboard box and gave them away," I recalled. "So what are you going to do, go up with a pair of tweezers so people can pick out their hamster?" she asked. We peered at the patient. After much struggling, what looked like a tiny foot would appear briefly, only to vanish a scant second later. "We don't appear to be making much progress," I noted. "A breech birth," my wife whispered, horrified. "Do something, Dad!" my son urged. "Okay, okay." Squeamishly, I reached in and grabbed the foot when it next appeared, giving it a gingerly tug. It disappeared. I tried again, with the same results. "Should I dial 911?" my daughter wanted to know. "Maybe they could talk us through it." "Let's get Ernie to the vet," I said grimly. We drove to the vet with my son holding the cage in his lap. "Breathe, Ernie, breathe," he urged. "I don't think hamsters do Lamaze," I told him. The vet took Ernie back to the examining room and peered at the little animal through a magnifying glass. "What do you think, Doc, an epidural?" I suggested scientifically. "Oh, very interesting," he murmured. "Mr. and Mrs. Cameron, may I speak to you privately for a moment?" I gulped, nodding for my son to step outside. "Is Ernie going to be okay?" my wife asked. "Oh, perfectly," the vet assured us. "This hamster is not in labor. In fact, that isn't EVER going to happen....Ernie is a boy." "What?" "You see, Ernie is a young male. And occasionally, as they come into maturity, male hamsters will, ah..." He blushed, glancing at my wife. "Well, you know what I'm saying, Mr. Cameron." We were silent, absorbing this. "So Ernie's just...just..." "Excited?" my wife offered. "Exactly," the vet replied, relieved that we understood. More silence. Then my wife started to giggle. "What's so funny?" I demanded. Tears were now running down her face. "Just...that...I'm picturing you pulling on its...its..." she gasped. "That's enough," I warned. We thanked the veterinarian and hurriedly bundled the hamsters and our son back into the car. He was glad everything was going to be okay. "I know Ernie's really thankful for what you've done, Dad," he told me. "Oh, you have no idea," my wife agreed, collapsing into laughter as I gave her a dirty look.

  12. On Sunday 3-11-12 my son lost his life on his new motorcycle. He had just purchased a Suzuki crotch rocket on Saturday. To my knowledge he did not have much (if any) experience riding. He was 41 yrs. old and lived in the mountains of N.C. I was not aware that he was purchasing a bike but I wish I had known. I certainly would have recommended him to take the MSF course before doing too much riding. He was on a long straight road with a hard sweeping left turn and apparently ran into so loose gravel according to the officer on the scene. He went into some trees and was killed instantly. He was my first born son and his passing leaves a huge void in my heart. He had great potential and loved life, he loved hot rod cars and apparently loved his new ride. I share this info with you all because I feel you are extended family in a way. Thanks to all for your support and love. I am confident that he will be in the presence of the Lord and that I will some day join him. I offer a link to his memory. http://maconfuneralhome.frontrunnerpro.com/runtime/4031/runtime.php?SiteId=4031&NavigatorId=61569&op=tributeObituary&viewOpt=dpaneOnly&ItemId=1154809&LinkId=221
  13. My son is thinking about trading his truck for another truck that a guy in Wauconda, Il. has. Are there any Ventureriders that live near by and willing to take it for a ride. My son has a low rider mini truck and is thinking of trading it for a low rider '98 Chevy dually. I'm hoping there is someone close to Wauconda that could get a look at it for us. We just want to be sure it is actually there and runs and drives ok.
  14. Just received a call from son # 1....you got it , I'm gonna be a grandpa for the 8th time come this September...Wait, #2 son is getting married in September....something tells me I'll be getting another call similar to this one next year. I've got to get these two boys a different hobby........
  15. I still can't believe this, but here is what happened. My son bought a quick pick lottery ticket wednesday. He had it in his pocket but didn't look at it until last night. He had all of the numbers but the power ball number. He had 16 for the power ball but the number was 32. If he had picked the power ball he would have won 140 million, but he won $250,000. He just left the lottery office with a net check after taxes of $172,500. I told him he has always been my favorite child and I have loved him more than anyone else. I've never purchased a lottery ticket but I think I might buy one each week now.

    Biker Down

Son had a bad crash yesterday evening. Went down avoiding the rearend of a SUV. Chose the grassy medium instead of the rear bumper of the SUV. Messed up his Road Star and caused him to have a broken knee cap and fracture rib. Probably will need surgery to correct his knee injury. Bike probably a total. Could have been worse had he not been wearing the proper protective gear. Said he was not speeding and he rolled after impacting the ground like a ball. Glad he's alive! Prayer would be greatly appreciated for his full recovery. He's a great son!
  17. My co-worker and friend and brother in the Lord, Philip Howard, is need of prayer for his family. His son Ben Howard (20 yrs old) wrecked his four wheeler ATV yesterday afternoon and had to be flown to the UK hospital in Lexington,KY. He is in critical shape and may be paralyzed from his chest down. He is to be operated on tomorrow. The young man is a good Christian boy and that is very good. He is in need of prayer and please remember his family also. This is very devastating news to me and all those I work with. We are a close nit group that work together at the State Highway Department. We spend many hours working together and watching out for one another as we do a dangerous job, especially through the winter months. Please remember us all in prayer as we all pray for Ben and his family. Fuzzy

  20. The ex has managed to lose another great paying job again and her boyfriend had to take her to court to get her out! So she told me and the kids she was renting a house just down from their school. I meet to get my daughter and my son stays with her for his football practice. The next day she loads up and moves to TN and I don't know till last Sunday! She told me I can't do a thing about it she's the mom and the court told her she can do what ever she want and I have to deal with it! Wrong! My lawyer got me full custody till Oct, now I just have to get her to bring my son up by Friday if not then the courts and police will take care of it. She has to be the most educated person with no common sence out there!

  23. WHO IS JACK SCHITT? For some time many of us have wondered just who is Jack Schitt? We find ourselves at a loss when someone says, 'You don't know Jack Schitt'! Well, thanks to my genealogy efforts, you can now respond in an intellectual way. Jack Schitt is the only son of Awe Schitt. Awe Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, who married O. Schitt, the owner of Needeep N. Schitt, Inc. They had one son, Jack. In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt. The deeply religious couple produced six children: Holie Schitt, Giva Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Bull Schitt, and the twins Deep Schitt and Dip Schitt. Against her parents' objections, Deep Schitt married Dumb Schitt, a high school dropout. After being married 15 years, Jack and Noe Schitt divorced. Noe Schitt later married Ted Sherlock, and because her kids were living with them, she wanted to keep her previous name. She was then known as Noe Schitt Sherlock. Meanwhile, Dip Schitt married Loda Schitt, and they produced a son with a rather nervous disposition named Chicken Schitt. Two of the other six children, Fulla Schitt and Giva Schitt, were inseparable throughout childhood and subsequently married the Happens brothers in a dual ceremony. The wedding announcement in the newspaper announced the Schitt-Happens nuptials. The Schitt-Happens children were Dawg, Byrd, and Horse. Bull Schitt, the prodigal son, left home to tour the world. He recently returned from Italy with his new Italian bride, Pisa Schitt. Now when someone says, 'You don't know Jack Schitt', you can correct them. Sincerely, Crock O. Schitt :rotfl::rotfl:
  24. Breakfast - Me, the 16 yr old son, the 9 yr old son and the 9 yr old daughter. 19 yr old son is far too cool to get up for breakfast. 16 yr old looks out the window at the bright sunny morning and asks "Can you give me a ride to school on the bike this morning?" That started a chorus of 9 yr old "Me too!" Ok. 16 yr old first. 12 km round trip. Then the daughter. 8 km round trip. Then the other son. Another 8 km. Wake the 19 yr old so he'll get himself off to work on time, stow the kiddie helmet in the rack. Grab my tank bag (laptop and stuff for work) and off to the office. 18 km 1 way. Total 46 km. I'm 22 minutes late for work, but for some reason I can't stop smiling...
  25. Just wanted to say Happy Birthday to my sweet husband on his BIG birthday today. Happy 65th! Hope you are having a great time out riding with our son, Jason. You are the best! You rock my world! Love you Patti :Happy Birthday::Happy Birthday:
