Going in tomorrow to get service and also replace back brake pads as there is a metal on metal sound so using front right now.Figured should get more than 11500klms before having to change brakes.Might get them to change fronts because when slowing down is fine but the make noise when they come to a stop. Sometimes they will squeel just before stopping.

This is what they classify as Stunt Driving - lifting any tire from the surface of the road (wheelies or stoppies) - intentionally causing any tire to lose traction while turning (skids or drifting) - having the intention of causing a vehicle to spin (not sure how they're going to measure intentions...) - driving a vehicle in oncoming lanes next to another vehicle longer than is "resonably" required to pass - driving with someone in the trunk (not sure what this has to do with racing or stunting) - driving while not sitting in the driver's seat - driving more than 50kph (approx. 30mph) over the speed limit - driving in a way that prevents others from passing - slowing down with the intention of slowing or interfering with another vehicle - driving with the inention of driving as close as possible to a vehicle, pedestrian or fixed object (i'm not sure what this one is about) - jumping a left turn at a green light before allowing straight-through traffic to proceed So what used to be considered "aggressive driving" falls under "stunt driving" now. Some of these are easily seen on the roads - people making left turns on green before straight-through traffic, slowing on purpose to block others..

Can anyone tell me why i get a single click on deceleration between 35 an 45 mph.I,m not on the brakes ,not shifting, not touching the clutch, just slowing down.It sounds like an electrical relay opening or closing.Bike run fine,no other problems, just a click. Can't tell exactly where its coming from.

Today was a great day. The temp got up above 70 degrees, so I decided to clean a couple bikes. Then I took one out for a ride to play. Can you guess which one is the play-toy? I even got Yammer out to ride with me. Although today it was me slowing down so he could keep up... It just doesn'tet any better in November.....

I just bought a 2006 Venture so far I really like the bike. My concern is an engine noise at certain RPM when crusing--that is when I am not speeding up or slowing down. In 5th gear its about 65 MPH. The noise is also heard in othr gears at lower speeds but only when not speeding up or slowing down--just crusing along. My thinking is that it may be the timing chain. My bike has 26 M miles on it. This may be normal for the engine but since by other bike is a V Twin I am not sure what are the normal noises for this engine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Eagle77----new member

This actually happened a week ago... I had just left work and in a rush to get home so I was pushing a little. The right lane was slow so I jumped in the left lane and was doing ok until this young girl in front of me puts on her right turn signal and suddenly starts slowing down until she is stopped waiting for cars in the right lane to pass. When she finally gets over I blow past her and look over to see her looking at me with a 'what did I do wrong' look on her face. THAT'S when I realized that me on the Venture with my black half helmet and black leather jacket and flashing headlight must have looked like a cop in her young mind and she thought I was pulling her over. (Yes, I did laugh) I've noticed others looking close or slowing down when I get behind them. Has anyone else had someone pull over for you?
