Back on November 4th 1967, two very young people decided to tie the knot. I was blessed to marry the magnificent Nadine I. Templin, and she remained the love of my life for the next 45 years. Wife, Mother, Teacher, Councilor, Friend. Last night she lost a battle with liver cancer, and there was nothing I could do to fix it. She was surrounded by family and close friends, and slipped away peacefully. She’s now in a much better place, and God has inherited a mighty warrior of the Gospel. Rest in Peace Sweety, I love you…..

On the way to work last night I got on the throttle in 3rd gear and around 6 grand on the tach the clutch slipped. This is the first time it has given me any trouble. I have a set of EBC springs I picked up on Ebay, anybody ever used them?? I am going to pull it apart this weekend and rough up the steels and put the new springs in. Anything else I should do while I have it apart that you can think of? I wish I could mic it but my nephew is going to school for machining and I gave him my mics to use.

Sometimes you find them. Once in a while you can even get yours hands on them. This week was pretty good. Found a few things I've been looking for over the last few years and didn't go broke getting them. Only one slipped though my fingers. Drat. But how often do you find these items? In good or NOS condtion?

When I bought the bike, I got a bike barn ( http://www.thebikebarn.net/tourermodel.html ) and it has pressure treated plywood floor. Well, I learned today the dew on the wood make for nasty bruises. Foot slipped as I was just hitting the three inch ramp a the front... Got my feet back under me in time to catch it from falling over... But I kicked the drivers floor board on the right side so hard, I thought I broke my leg. I was scared to put my foot down but had no choice. When she didn't fold like a chair I knew it wasn't broken... But Goramitt that hurt! Allot!!:sign **** happens:

I replaced my clutch on my 86 VR with the Barnett. My old clutch looks like new and probably has only 5000 miles on it.I would replace the spring but other than that the friction plates are like new and the pressure plate also.I think the reason it slipped at high speed was because the guy who installed it did not index the plates or put the spacers in facing the same direction.Make an offer and I can send it.Boxed up and ready to go !
