Just wanted to personally thank you for a great weekend, and also for the Venture Bell now I can hang it on my bike and be protected. I will also get good use of the sirius set up I won on the ticket drawing. I am also thanking all who was involved in this year's MD, yes even you Squidley even though you skipped by me for the muffler drill out. :rotf::rotf:just kidding it was nice just to see your ugly pug :rotf::rotf:and Lonna too. God bless and hope everyone makes it home safe and sound. Joe

*********** Update: All items are spoken for several times. I am in the process of answering PM's. Wow, stuff moves fast when the price is right! I've got a few things just sitting around collecting dust and thought I would offer them up for anyone who wants to cover shipping. 1. Stock standard windshield. In good shape with no scratches. I switched to a showchrome and no longer need it. 2. Clarion cd changer. Was installed when I purchased and I did not like it. I skipped on bumpy roads. Someone suggested mounting on rubber washers but it was taking up valuable space anyway. If you want to try it let me konw. 3. Left side saddle bag liner by Bestem. I purchased the 3 bag set but I keep the tools / raingear / rags etc... in the left bag and I have never used it. I only use the right side and trunk bags. Send me a PM with your location and I will find the best shipping quote.

I've always been a bit confused as to how to figure out the model year from the 1stGens VIN number. I've read all about it, but it didn't make sense. For all those that are in the dark like me, here it is. The last 6 digits are the serial number. The 2 letters before them designate the year. Actually you could drop the 'A' and still be in the know.... DA= 83 EA= 84 FA= 85 GA= 86 HA= 87 I.... skipped. Looks too much like a one JA= 88 KA= 89 LA= 90 MA= 91 NA= 92 O.... skipped. Looks too much like a zero PA= 93
