I'm just trying to insert a photo into the bottom of my message.......so it appears as the picture it is......i.e. not a link or an attachment. (oh, and not part of my signature, as I already have!) What is the simplest/fastest way, without having to subscribe to any new third party service. Thanks, guys. Mike

I have a picture uploaded and it shows up in my user CP labeled "Your Current Signature Picture". But when I try to insert it into my signature using "Edit Signature" all I get is: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Meanwhile, I still have the signature image you'll see below. Any advice?

I went to the website and saved my picture of the states that I've rode. Then went to userCP and added it to my signature. It shows the map uploaded and I see the pic in "your current signature picture" but the map isn't showing in my signatures when I post...Any suggestions about what I'm doing wrong? Thanks

I joined the group about 2-3 weeks ago and have been reading useful stuff about the bikes just about every day. I have already done a couple of modifications to my bike thanks to what I have learned here. Thanks to all of you that contribute so generously to help those who know less, like me. There is one small detail that remains a mistery to me: A lot of members have maps of the USA and/or Canada as part of their signature or their profile, and these maps have some states that are colored and some that are not. I imagine the colored states probably correspond to the states that they have visited while riding the bike. My question is: Where do you find those maps and how do you add specific states and then publish them as part of your signature or profile? Thanks,

Just noticed that my time and temperature icon on the bottom of my signature is missing. Anyone know where it went to??

Cant seem to get rid of the incorrect url message in the bottom of my signature. Ive tried a few things to drop it and have deleted the code out of the box and it always reappears. I would like to change the signature but I cant as the incorrect always overwrites my new signature changes. Could any of the board mods have a look and help me out? Thanks in advance, Brian:bang head:

Don't know if this is the correct place for this or the right way to mention this. Another member said that he liked my signature and that got me thinking about it. I thought that maybe a signature for our sight on the welcome page would be a good idea. Something that speaks for the way we feel about riding or what ever that catches the eye of members and perspective members. Maybe we could have a number of suggestions and then have a vote to chose the one members feel is the best or most appealing. I am willing to give mine up if it were to be chosen. What do the rest of you think?

For my signature I have 2 where I have ridden maps, one of USA and one of Canada. And every so often I log on site and there will be 2 USA maps or 2 Canada maps and I will have to go back and redo the signature again to get it back the way it was. What am I doing wrong?

My signature block (and some others that I have seen) are getting cut off at the bottom. I don't know what I can do to fix the situation. I have tried to resize the font and the graphics, but nothing seems to work. Appreciate any help. Jim T

OK folks, long ago I had implemented restrictions on how large signature pictures can be. The HUGE signatures eat up a ton of bandwidth and can really slow down a forum. The restriction got lost at some point during an upgrade. I have now re-implemented this feature and sig pictures now now not exceed 150 pixels tall. If you find that your sig is now cropped, you will just have to redo it.

Don, would you consider allowing HTML code in signature permissions?

I would like to know why you chose your user name and signature. I think it could help us all to know each other a little better. My user name is funrider, that is because I have fun everytime I go riding and every ride I have is fun. My signature use to be, My wife asks me when I am going ot grow up, I tell her I have to grow old, I don't have to grow up. ( that pretty much is the way I look at life, to many people grow old and forget to have fun.) Another person has a signature very much the same, so I have decided to change mine. My new one is, A clash between a bike and a cage, You can not win. Choose you battles wisely and live to ride again. After reading about all the accidents, damage to bikes. personal injuries and even the deaths of fellow riders, I feel this is only appropriate. Now it is your turn to tell all of us about why your user name and signature. Oh, one more question, how do I keep this post going?
