Has anyone had to adjust the length of their kickstand due to lowering their bike. Mine is going in tonight to be lowered 1 inch and I was wondering if I would have to shorten the ks to make sure the correct lean angle was maintained. Sure would hate to lay this thing over.

I had my bike lowered with lowering links which makes my bike much easier to move around when I'm just rolling it around in parking lots..or even the garage. Anyway, although the kickstand works OK as it is now...ANY type of sloping surface (even the slightest slope) makes it feel like the bike is sitting straight up, so I want to SHORTEN my kickstand. So I bought a used kickstand on eBay and got it today. I thought my neighbor could fix this for me, but he says he can't weld cast iron...so now I am looking for someone to shorten the kickstand for me (preferably someone that has done this before). I would want a finished look and will pay for the job. I did look in the classifieds, but couldn't any appropriate section (maybe "wanted to buy"), but decided I would post here first. Anyone interested? Wally

Has anyone cut down their windshield? How did it work out?I would like to shorten mine by 4 inches,any suggestions or advise ? Thanks... -
I am now using the Sirius radio and so far I really like it. One thind I do not like is the Antenna length (Cable) One that came with the unit has a cable about 20 ft long. Way too much speghetti on the Handle bars. Anyone know of a antenna with a shorter cable or is there a way to shorten the cable down to about 1 ft or less just for the bike? I noticed they make a shorter one for the XM (which I dont have) but will the antenna work with the sirius? Help!
