Sorry girls, I didn't forget about your tops. The vendor had a rush job which had to take precedence over our shirts. Also the manufacturer of ladys tops we were looking at is discontinuing their line so we had to go to a new manufacturer for them. I'm told ,I will have the shirts in a DAY OR TWO .. I will post pictures of them at that time....Again, sorry for the delay...

Carl and his lovely wife stopped by to deliver my T shirts. (Thanks for getting that all together Don! (XV1100SE) They had to get to their daughter's but had enough time to stop in and have a cup of coffee with us anyway. Great to see Marca again....and well....Carl too I guess! Unfortunately they were in the cage so I couldn't ride with them....but I still sent them on their way via a nice scenic back route.

Friends went away for 3 weeks and we were taking care of the house, feeding the cats etc. They bought me back a couple fo tee shirts from Daytona Bike week and this metal plaque. They are nice EXCEPT they are harleys Can you say "ride therapy"?

I posted the following message before we went on our cruise, didnt get any response to it, so I will repost here. If everyone would rather have the auctions, I can do that, so let me know how ya'll let me know how we should do it. I got plenty of shirts and pins and some hats left, they taking up space and I need to move them, I can take them with me to this years St. Jude ride but I would like to have most of them gone. If you want one of these items send me a pm telling me what you want. It will cost you $5.00 for the USPS priority mail shipping, plus a donation for the kids at St. Jude. At least make your donation a minimum of $5.00 for each item you want, you can make a larger donation, which would be fantastic, so if you want one of each , pin, shirt, hat, that would be $15.00 donation and $5.00 for shipping. Now I have plenty of shirts and about 30 pins, 15 hats, so pm me first before you paypal to make sure I have what you want.

When we arrived home and got everything unloaded, started going through all the mail and found an envelope from the company I used to make the t-shirts. They saw from our shirts that we were raising money for St. Jude and sent me a small donation. This is the second time I have used them and they are a class act. Can someone steer me in the right direction sometime ago on the net in the States i found a store that was selling Yamaha V4 tee shirts with flames and a few other variations on the V4 theme would like to buy but can no longer remember where i found it a web site would be good. Thanks

The planning for Vogel V is underway, attached to this post you will find an attachment for the registration. I will also be posting the schedule of what is planned at a later date. This year I am doing it a little differently, every adult attending will pay a $35.00 registration fee, what you get for this is a t-shirt, patch and a catered meal on Saturday. If any of you are bringing your children or unlicensed teens, the only thing extra for them is the cost of the dinner which I will put at $5.00. Only full registrations will get the shirt and patch. I will have extra shirts available for sale for $18.00, and patches for $5.00. Please try to get you registrations to me by Aug. 1, 2011, so I can get a good count on how much food to order and how many shirts to order. You can mail the registrations to my address which is listed at the bottom of the form. Remember all profits will be going to the Kids at St. Jude.

Ok.... Leadwolf56 is sending me the remaining Rally shirts for me to distribute as he is swamped. What I need from the folks that ordered shirts is to make sure that I know you haven't recieved your shirts, and for you to pay Black Owl for the ones you have ordered. Use this thread to let me know who needs their shirts and PM me with your addresses so I can ship them out. I know some of you have already paid for them, I'll get with Russ and see if we can decifer all the gory details. Thanks for your paitence and we'll get you folks your shirts

I received the sample of the shirt that I designed for "Freebird's Maintenance Day" and am very pleased with the way that it turned out. These are very good quality Hane's Beefy T's and the text and image quality is very nice. I am now taking orders and payment for these shirts. I did the best I could on the price based on the number of shirts that you indicated in the poll that you would want. They would be a bit cheaper if I had them screen printed but that does not work well with a full color detailed photo as I am using on the back. Therefore, the prices are as follow: NO pocket shirts: $20.00 Available in sizes small - 3XL Pocket shirts: $22.00 Available in sizes small - 2XL These prices do NOT include shipping as I assume that most of you will pick them up at maintenance day. If you want shirts but cannot attend maintenance day, I think that an additional $4.00 per shirt should cover packaging and postage. These prices will result in a profit of about $2.50 per shirt. Actually less than that after PayPal fees are deducted. 100% of the profits will go to a local charity the "Domestic Violence Center". This is an organization that my wife volunteers at. They are a great group that provide food, shelter and other aid to women and child victims of domestic violence. Eileen has been very patient of the time that I spend working on and participating on this site and this is just a way for me..and all of us...to show my appreciation for all her support while helping a very deserving group that is dear to her. Please place your orders ASAP. I will try to order a few extra shirts but probably not very many so order now if you really want one. Payment should be made via PayPal to dk_nelson@verizon.net Please note the underscore between dk and nelson. If you don't use PayPal, PM me for my mailing address if you don't have it. Be sure to note with your payment: Pocket or No Pocket and sizes for each. I will take orders for a week or two and then place the order with the vendor.

By now, with an exception of three fleece jackets..everyone who ordered their fleece jackets and shirts should have recieved them....before I took on this project I recieved 52 pm's expressing interest in the shirts..I expanded payment options to recieve pay pal along with the sleeveless fleece and the option on the colors of the fleece because some of the woman didn't care for pink..I also went so far as excepting personal checks against all advice...well , to date 10.... yes,10 members have ordered the t shirts....the fleece are doing ok...... DO NOT get me wrong...I am not complaining...I would think that with the amount of members we have here, that the club could do better than fill 10 orders......I'm glad my vendor does these one at a time and I don't have a minimum order... I AM HAPPY to do this for the club , it does take a lot of my time contacting people and verifying their size and order, ordering the product, picking them up from the vendor, packing them for shipping, filling out tracking slips, running them to the post office, contacting members of their shipping progress and again verifying that they recieved them..AGAIN ,I recieve nothing from this...all proceeds go to Ventureriders .org....SO , with the HOLIDAY season fast approaching and still good riding in the south, I am asking all members to take a minute to check out the merchandise forum and hopefully give me a pm with your order.....I have been talking to the vendor on making up some dewrags with our name on them...when I hear back from him on wednesday, I will inform you on the progress of this venture....thanks and ride safely...:fnd_(16):

Just a reminder for those who ordered t's, jackets, and sweats....orders will be in my hands wednesday...if you placed an order and have not sent me your payment ...please do so as I like to pay for them when I recieve them.....I did recieve some of the sweat shirts yesterday, but because they are only partial orders ...I will hang on to them until they are complete.....and a big THANK YOU to the members who have purchased items.....all shirts and fleece jackets will be available year round so you can always order them, but like you, I like to ride when the weather is nice... so this is a perfect time to place an order...and don't forget CHRISTMAS IS COMMING.. and I need at least 2 weeks to fill an order...

Just so everyone knows...yes I am still working on the t shirts. I am very busy with another organization I belong to and will be until the end of August...Have met with the vendor and will be offering t's with and without pockets, also long sleeve and sweatshirts too:clap2:..am looking into club jackets and a variety of other apperall such as womans fleeces..he has so many products to offer, its mind boggleing:think:...please bare with me for a while during this process...I need to set up a palpal account and look into shipping costs too.. for now the colors that will be offered will be white, dark grey,black and navy blue ( THE BOSS SAYS NO HAZZARD GREEN..DARN, GUESS YOUR HAVE TO MOVE TO NY TO GET ONE OF THOSE)..But then again who listens to him anyway :whistling:lol....sizes from small to xxxlg...again I'm not computer savy:smash2: and everything is new to me to get this rolling...prices are still being worked out at this time ...... been dealing with this vendor for many years and he is excellant to deal with...shirts will be 50/50 cotton and poly....no shrinkage...again,please be patient with me during this process:bowdown:....should be ready to go by the end of august...:fnd_(16):

Ok folks. it is less that 30 days to Vogel, I have a small problem and I really need those that are attending to help me, especially if you havent registered or did an RSVP on the calendar, I need a better idea on how many people are coming, because I have to order the t-shirts no later than Friday of this week, and right now I only have 13 registrations confirmed, I know a lot of people said they are coming and will register late, but if I go by the count that I have now, and I order that many plus a few extra, I will not have enough to go around, and if I go ahead an order 100 which is what I did last year and only 50-60 show, I am going to go in the hole for shirts and patches. I dont need to do that because all the profits from these shirts go to the "KIDS" at St. Jude Childrens Hospital. We want to present them with a really nice check again this year from Vogel. So PLEASE, if you plan on coming please let me know what size and color you want, there are 2 colors available, they are purple and kelly green........... This only applies to you if you havent registered or RSVP.

The time has come to place my order for Dragon/Vogel t-shirts. I have finalized the design and just need to leave the rest up to the members attending, so if you plan on attending Vogel you have two things to do, first I need to know sizes especially if you haven't registered and given me that info already, second is which color you want, in the past we have had, grey shirts, black shirts, and maroon shirts as I dont wont to duplicate any shirt, I want each year to stand out on its own merit. Below you will find a sample of each color I have chosen and the design on the front, the back will remain secret until Aug. 12. So please let me know what color and what sizes you will be requiring especially if you don't plan on pre-registering. If I already have your registration you can pm me with your choice. For those that don't submit their choice, I will have extra shirts available at the registration table, they will be available on a first come basis, and if you are bringing your kids and want shirts I can get them in youth sizes but. I must have this info before I place the order.

So far I have only received 3 registrations for Vogel, I am hoping it will pick up a little, the poll shows a little over 30 bikes and about 50 people coming, but I need firm numbers so I can place an order for the shirts............and its getting kinda close, I dont want to over-order the shirts............... So if you can register it would be appreciated or at least go to the calendar and RSVP so I can get a better idea of how many I need to order...............
