Is anyone going to this for 2012? I still have 2.5 weeks oif vacation and I am thinking about attending but would like to have company. It looks like this is a very large gathering and there would be some great rides out of the area as well as a number of events to participate in. Would welcome sharing a room in the area and perpahs a ride along on the way up from Houston area. I will probably head from Houston on Wednesday and stop just over the OK line for a night at the casino then head to Fayetteville thrusday morning and stay until Sunday morning. Anyone in Texas going? Anyone intrested in Meeting etc just let me know and we'll share numbers etc. I found a reltatively inexpensive room in Rogers Arkansas 10 miles frm Fayetteville as Fayetteville seems sold out already and would be willing to share with someone who needs a room. LEt me know and we'll get things going Link to event. http://www.bikesbluesandbbq.org/ James

My seven year old son was amazed at the miller on the back porch. Dad he said, come take some pictures. One of God's amazing creatures. Their protection from being eaten. Thought I would share with you all. I touched the screen on the window and this is what you see. Fuzzy

Got my new Utopia backrest in the mail today . Can't wait to install it. Hopefully I can get to it Wednesday night. For those of you who have already installed one, any tricks you want to share with me, or is it as simple as the pictures show?

For those not familiar with the above title, the magazine is the official publication of the Iron Butt Association. Many times riders, particularly those on Long Distance rides, need to stop and rest. This may be for a whole night, a few hours or even just a 30 minute nap. While hotels and motels are favorite, there are times when that option is not necessarily the preferred one and people take all sorts of opportunities to grab a few winks. I am collecting stories and anecdotes and, in particular, high res. pics, of bikers, their bikes and any unusual situations they have slept in. Hence the comments in the other thread re: Hammocks. If you have a story you wish to share, and if you have any decent pics of a "resting" moment that you wouldn't mind being published, could you please share them in the thread below. Thanks.

So it is the day after the big day, what was your best present? Did you get something for your bike? Please tell all, and of course share photos, if you have them. Merry Christmas & Happy 2012 Yama Mama

I am riding down Friday Aug 19 afternoon/evening depending on work and am looking to see if anyone has a camp site that they would like to share/split. I have an aspen classic and normally all state parks I have been in allow us to put two tent trailers or two tents on one site. If anyone has a site to share please let me know before I try to book a site next week. Thanks looking forward to meeting new friends and seeing old ones.
