Well I'm in the process of checking the sync of my carbs. I have vacume dial type gauges. 1) First I got her warmed up good to the point the fans kicks on 2) next I removed the rubbers tips from the intake. 3) hooked up the hoses from the gauges to the intakes. Here's where I'm lost. The needle on the gauges will not settle they flop back and forth like a hummimg bird in flight. What should I do of look for!!

Get ready, we'll be on our way tomorrow after work! Expect to land in San Antonio on Tuesday, and hit the Hampton Inn in Tomball by Friday! We're gonna meander down....spend the weekend with y'all, and then meander back up north and then settle in for the YECH....winter months which are on the way. I've dubbed it the flat @ss tour of 2010.....it will probably fit quite nicely Yup, we're excited, and yep, we're ready(I think). See y'all in a week! gunk and beth:fingers-crossed-emo

Hi All, I am trying to get my 90 working right. I do not think the owner before me did anything yet ride this bike and he did not even do much of that. I pulled the plugs and they were rusted on the outside. Also they looked as if they were burning right not black etc. I got my carb tune today and hooked it up to sync the carbs. I can bearly get them to move at an idle. when burping the bike they do jump up yet then settle down to the bottom of the scale. I can get the readings to change as one would expect with the balancing screws yet all at the bottom of the scales. Right now I am thinking a big vacumn leak what do you all think. Thanks DAZ
