If the salvage price is reasonable, I may want to buy my VR back from the insurance co. The key is finding someone who could take possession of it in Las Vegas, then maybe between several members could help ferry it back to Buckley WA where it could serve as a parts VR for my 89 VR. Please let me know if you can help or know of someone.

Since it will be wet and the ground possibly soft. I will bring a supply of polished Stainless steel pads to put under your side stand (a pair also works well under the center stand) so we do not have to pick up to many bikes that might want to take a nap in the nice soft wet grass. It will be first come first serve.

wow.....i was in shock...get this letter from missouri DOC.open it and start reading that his first parole hearing is already scheduled......Im thinking "how screwed up can the justice system be to be doing this already" Im about to totally flip out........I finally got to the date and had to reread it 3 times to make sure i was seeing correctly... Scheduled for sometime in oct of 2021......!! this means he will not do less than 13 yrs if you count the year he did while waiting for trial etc. Ok so now im liking this!!!...... my worst fears were that he would serve 6 or 8 out of the 18 he got. The DA's office gave us some stats several months ago on what percent they usually serve.......so this is definately good news. hmmm guess i better get started on my speach for the hearing so he stays put longer......:rotf: Just wanted to share this tidbit with you all since youve been here thru all this with us..

I was just thinking what can I say to thank all of you Veterans out there? I never served in the military. I actually wanted to enlist in the Navy when I got out of nursing school and be a Navy nurse, but my Father would not let me serve. My Father was in the Army and Ron was in the Army too. I want to just say I appreciate the sacrifices that you made to serve our country. And I think we all need to take a moment from our busy lives to think of the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice serving the USA. To all the families that have lost a loved one in the wars in the past and in the present. We have this day to think of them all and to pray for them all. May God Bless the USA and all our Veterans. Thank you. Yama Mama:325:
