Well we are on a roll now. Last Saturday the lazy half of my heart restarted so I am on 6 days and counting now.:dancefool: This is the longest stretch of running on all 4 chambers since September when this all started. Since Sept there was a one day run, and a 4 day run and now this run. Hoping it will just stay running this time.

Won't be long until we find out what happens with the venture. Usually around September 8.

I've got an 06 RSTD & would like to get some slip-on's for it. I ordered a set from J&P. Bub slip-ons recommended by my Yamaha mechanic, but they are on backorder until maybe September. Any ideas or anybody have some used slip-ons for sale. I want a little noise on my day bike I ride to work. Thanks, Graderman46

I felt my first earthquake early Sunday morning. September 11th. I was not far from San Angelo, and felt the truck move, it actually shook, for about 2 seconds....I had been up for about 30 minutes but was still relaxing in the sleeper, checking email, news about the anniversary of September 11, and recent tweets on my iPad. Normally when you feel that in a stationary truck cab, its either a gust of wind, or maybe a heavily loaded truck that rolls by on the highway. I heard an hour later it was an earthquake in Snyder. Magnitude 4.4 on the scale. It's a sparsely populated area, and the suspicion is that the oil and gas operations in the area are causing it. Where have we heard THAT before? There have been several aftershocks, and in fact, in the last few years, they have had a number of minor tremblors in the area. http://www.myfoxlubbock.com/news/local/story/Snyder-earthquake-Scurry-County/DnOHZWUCvUSgbivOt5IWsg.cspx?rss=2345 http://earthquake-report.com/2011/09/11/shallow-magnitude-4-4-earthquake-close-to-snyder-texas/ This was centered in a county named appropriately, Scurry County.

Two or three of us couples are going to be in Davis/Canaan Valley West Virginia from the 4th of September til the 10th of September and will be riding the area of about a 100 mile radius. Thought if anyone lived in that neck of the woods maybe we could do a ride or a meet and eat one day. Keep us in mind and let me know if this might work out for someone. Rick

I had a previous thread about this ride, but neither Beth or I knew when we could get vacation. Well, we have a choice to make now: A) Last two weeks of July B) First two weeks of September What do you recommend, and why? Thanks again for everyone's help. gunk:confused24:

Who's up for a ride to Gettysburg? We're thinking about September 4th but that is Labor Day weekend. That could be good or bad. Contemplating the same diner we had last year's M&E. Let me know alternative dates if that doesn't work. We can't do August at all or September 25th.

at last im almost to the point of letting the venture go. i just cant keep up with the work it needs? i dont have the skills to keep her going. and last PO just didnt take of her. she runs ok. but she needs TLC. i got to say she allways got me home. with cost of the bike and stuff i bought im into her for about 4 grand. im thinking of selling it and finding one that is in better shape maybe go to a 1989 or higher. this will not happen till around september though. as im looking at settling a long over due workers comp case. sometimes if ya dont feel safe you got to let her go:crying:

I had planned to attend both the Eastern NC and Gettysburg M&E's, and now BOTH have been canceled. Are ya'll trying to tell me something? Since I already got the days off work, now I gotta find something to do. Hum........the Shenandoah Valley is only an hour away! Freebird, if you cancel Maintenance Day, I'm buying a Goldwing! As for the September Chincoteague 2 Day M&E&R(ide), I'm still planning on doing it. If for some reason I have to work, I'll get Mini to make Riderduke take it over. Ben

September 1, 2008. "Dear Yamaha Dealer: Yamaha Motor, works hard to remain your #1 source of parts and accessories. We strive to provide high quality parts and accessories at competitive prices. Due to a significant rise in supplier cost, a price increase will be implemented starting October 1st 2008. This pricing change will only effect parts for units no longer in production, some selected older parts will have a greater increase than others. In early September, two price master files will be distributed to your Dealer Management Systems and posted on YDS for your convenience. One file will have the parts prices for the month of September. The other file will have the October prices. By comparing the two files you’ll be able to see which part numbers have been impacted. It may be beneficial for you to stock up on these parts in September before the price increase is implemented. Thank you for your continued support of Yamaha Genuine Parts and Accessories". Trevor Kemp National Parts & Accessory Sales Manager Parts & Accessories Division. My Brother in Law forwarded this onto me after he recieved it from Yamahasportsplaza.com. Keith.

I, like many others, have been waiting to see what 2009 is going to offer in the way of the RSV:bang head:. All I have came up with has been speculation and everyone's "I think" which I have plenty of my own hopes and wishes. I checked the http://www.starmotorcycles.com/ site today and they at least had added the following information 2009 MODEL INTRO Experience new models Monday September 8, 2008 3 PM Eastern "I think" this is the information we have been waiting on! So now we just have to keep doing the same thing, wait and see:draming:. I am wanting a new RSV so bad I can't hardly stand it. My plans are to have a new bike some time in September:mo money:.
