From Tim Horton’s coffee cups to ‘RED’ bikes go faster (and make no mistake it ‘is’ the ‘RED’ bikes) you folks are the best. I've gone through and continue manage very difficult times and have been away from this site for some time now. My absence has not been by choice but rather it’s been necessary for me to focus my energy elsewhere. Sadly, nor have I been riding but I hope that will change this spring. I can see that things here are still going strong and that sense of kinship, a family of sorts, is still among you all. As equally admirable and most refreshing, you haven’t lost your sense of humor and are as informative as usual! Laughter is the best medicine and friendship the gift of life! Thanks Abdul for your concern and thank you Don for restoring my membership. Hello to all of you I’m glad to be back! Charlie

I'm broke after getting this bike so for nor now new slip ons are not an option.

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:-Knowing when to come in out of the rain; - Why the early bird gets the worm;- Life isn't always fair; - And maybe it was ...my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies, don't spend more than you can earn and adults, not children, are in charge. His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, Truth and Trust, by his wife Discretion, his daughter Responsibility, and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 4 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights,I Want It Now,Someone Else Is To Blame,I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, do nothing.

An interesting article in the riders plus news letter. I am not sure what to make of it though, because my spidey sense is giving me a bad feeling. http://www.ridersplus.com/articles/news/One_Year_of_Ontario_Auto_Insurance_Reform.php

I was over on triketalk.com and was reading a thread about how hot the HD Triglide is and how much modifications and $$ they have to put into there stock trikes to just make them bareable to ride. Wouldn't it make more sense to just buy a liquid cooled trike? Don't get me wrong, I like HD, but not if it's going to cook my butt and other things.

How do you guard your scooter from theft? This is my main method. Nearly three hundred pounds and no sense of humor. http://i521.photobucket.com/albums/w337/Owen064/IMG_0410s.jpg http://i521.photobucket.com/albums/w337/Owen064/IMG_0399s.jpg

This was sent to me by a friend from the MTA. There is some good info here. A lot of it is common sense but worth reviewing. http://www.calsci.com/motorcycleinfo/Accidents.html

Not sure if I have a problem or not, it looks like one side of my front tire is on the road more then the other, if that makes sense, but I measured it from the center and the wear is equal, it looks off to me, what do ya`ll think??

My parents told me about Mr. Common Sense early in my life and told me I would do well to call on him when making decisions. It seems he was always around in my early years but less and less as time passed by.Today I read his obituary. Please join me in a moment of silence in remembrance. For Common Sense has served us all so well for so many generations. ObituaryCommon SenseToday we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend , Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. OK I'm not an electrician. I can't read them lil squidly lines on blueprints. I would like to know how to hook up my new to me horns. I have a 30 amp relay I got at Autozone . Iwant to hook up thru my existing horn wiring if possible using it to fire the relay and the relay to fire both new horns. The rely has numbers on it that I know correspond to which wires I hook up. Am I making sense? The horns are stebal electric with 2 connectors so I'm assuming they are not self grounding. In other words what wire goes to 86 what to 85 and ect.? Sorry to be so dense.
