My wife brought home a new lift for me today.I put it together and was ready to load the bike up on it, but when I looked underneath it, I am not sure where to place the lift pads. I am looking at getting one of carbon ones stands, but for now where is the best place to locate the lift? Thanks for the help.

Just picked up a Astatic 636L noise canceling hand held mic. This mic is 4 pin so I also got the 5 pin din adaptor to go with it. Well, I tried it out and all I get is feed back through the mic. I have an older sears 5 pin that work sso the problems has to be in the wiring in the mic, I think? Does any one know what I need to do to correct the problem?

i have a 2003 ranger with 106,000 miles, 3 liter v-6. i think the converter is clogged. sears says it's not the converter, it needs to have the fuel system cleaned. it runs great but does'nt seem to have the power it once had. and it has a roaring sound when it gets over 2500 rpm, like it is laboring. could sears be right. they get $150.00 for a complete fuel system cleaning. question is does this really work or is it a waste of money?

Hey all, Just ordered a Carbon_one free standing lift adapter and was intrested in knowing which Sears jack best works with the adapter. I had the red lift several years ago and it seemd to work well for the short time I had it. Have been reading the reviews lately on Sears web site and the red lift dosen't seem to be very popular in ratings. Just wanted to know how others feel about this and out of the two is the red or yellow lift better with Carbon_one lift adapter and supporting our heavy bikes? Thanks, Dennis

This spring I bought Black Owl's custom built trailer and we pulled it for the first time to and from Pork in the Pines. Its a custom frame (don't know which brand) and a Sears car top carrier. The 15 CUFT version kinda like this one [/url]http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_02872016000P). I was impressed at how well it handled especially in the strong winds we had. It pulled easy. No swaying caused by the wind. I felt it in first and second gear, but after that there was no sense of having a trailer behind me. Except when we hit a really big dip in the road then I felt an extra yank on the bike. When we got home I weighed the trailer. (yeah I know, I should have check the weights BEFORE leaving.) The trailers total weight loaded with all of our gear and our tiny little tent (see PiP 2008 Pics) came in at 370 pounds. The tongue weight was 33 pounds. I will have to look into the way we packed that little beast to possibly lower the tongue weight. Maybe move the spare tire further back. Someday I hope to build a new body that looks good and is still functional and light weight.

Ill be starting on my new H/F trailer soon. Bought the 8" wheel kit this past spring and just picked up a Karrite Explorer carrier from Pep Boys yesterday. This will be my second trailer that I have built. The first one was stock size with a 20cf Sears topper and 12" wheels. I had diamond plated the frame, which was time consuming. The new one will be closely color matched, narrowed and shortened. Hopefully ill have it ready by Sept. I think the Explorer topper is sturdier than the Sears topper and it opens from the side. It also looks more aerodynamic than the Sears...you know, for less wind drag on those 150 mph interstate runs....

I'm in the market for a cycle lift. I see that lots of folks here use the Sears lift (the $100 model). In researching that particular model on the Sears site, people seem to really **dislike** that model (lots of 1's on a scale of 5). LOTS of complaints about shoddy workmanship, broken pumps, etc. So I'm looking for an expert's perspective (yours) on the "best" cycle lift! I'm leaning towards the Larin MAL2 (~$190.00). All thoughts, comments, experiences would be appreciated.

You guys have helped me so much already, had to tell you this. Through tomorrow, Sears is having a sale on their great motorcycle lift/jack: It's only $79! With all the maintenance I'm already doing, I need it too. Picked up a really nice roller stool too, should save some back pain. Act quick, sale ends tomorrow! No, I don't work for Sears. Here's the pics:

Last time I did this, I used a Tupperware container that almost overflowed by the time all the oil drained. I'm looking for something that will fit under my Sears bike lift, maybe 12"L x 10"W x 6"D. Any suggestion are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I bought this at Sears but havn't used it yet. Saw another thread about where to place the jack and wonder if anyone is using this or do I have to purchase something else.

Anyone have any experience with Sears brand Battery maintainer? I have one and in the last month have had to refill the battery twice. It seems to be charging, when in fact the battery is dead. New battery in May so that is not the problem. I'm inclined to think that I have a faulty charger and it is giving too much of a charge and boiling the water out of the battery. Any ideas before I head back to Sears?
