Well, I have searched and searched and found no answer... so I'll ask those who know. My wife is short and has short little legs. Her floorboards need to come up and maybe back a bit. Does ANYONE make anything to reposition them? I'm talking about the floorboards not the legs. -

Will someone PLEASE PM me, with all the details and info needed, regarding the 3rd annual LeaF Lookers Ride, in the Wisconsin Dells, on October 5th, and 6th. I have searched and searched this forum website, and I cannot find the detailed specifics of the ride, exact location, motels, etc. When I go to the VR Rallies page, it lists the ride, but there is no link for further info. What I would like, in my weird mind...is a good old-fashioned rally flyer kid of info. I see where a lot of people chat about the ride, but...that is not helpful to someone riding 2000 miles to get to the ride. I may...in fact...try attending this ride on my way back home from Happy Valley/Goose Bay. Or...may ride all the way home to Washington State, leave my Super Tenere' in the garage, and jump on the RSMTD, and ride back out to Wisconsin. My parents have an old J.C. Higgens cooler that was bought in the early 50s. Does anyone know if it has any collector value? What it may be worth? I searched all of Craigs list and ebay but could not find one similar.

How do I separate the dash to get to the gauges? My dash illumination knob won't budge. I have searched the forums and my manual diagrams but can't see how it comes apart. Thanks -

We just got our RSV last weekend and I was getting a tad frustrated at the lack of accessories for the bike compared to others. I searched and searched and searched on here, asked some questions and, lo and behold, I had answers to just about anything and everything I wanted to know!! I'm still a tad frustrated at the lack of accessories for this bike compared to, say, a Harley , which everyone seems to make accessories for, but that's just the way it is and I love our new bike. So This board is wonderful!!!! Thank you to every single one of your for sharing your help, your experiences, your knowledge and your time with me and everyone else!!

Has anyone attempted to put a Venture 6 gallon tank on a RSTC with the 4 gallon tank? Searched and did not find anything.

Wellll... after going thru 2 pairs of those crappy adjure 20 dollar special passing lamps, I have decided to go with a sealed beam from napa 70,000cp 55wt. Got one reinstalled on the bike and WOW I love it. Go to install #2 and for the life of me that metal ring for the sealed beam grew legs and split!!! I have searched and searched so now I ask for your help. Any chance someone has one laying around I could get?? Please let me know ASAP Thanks Guys

saw squidleys earlier thread, and didnt want to hijack it, so heres my 88, its got a few issues, loose muffler, squirelly front end, headlights out, but ill get to them one at a time. first question is, its got the original oil filter, i searched the site and found the list of aftermarket filters do they just screw on, if the pic shows up this is my new baby getting pushy with my roadstar.

Ok guys, I've searched and searched threads on this site and have gotten some good ideas (like setting the floats from V7Goose), but one thing I suspect and haven't been able to find any info on is testing procedures for the coils. The problem is after syncing the carbs my gas mileage went down and it still seems like the cylinders aren't all firing evenly. It's got new plugs in it (original NGK#) and all vacuum lines and plugs are good. I also run a can of Sea Foam regularly. Can anyone help with more suggestions?

Well, for the THIRD time my 200 lb body took on the 750 lb '85 VR, and I don't have to tell you which one came out on top (literally). Just a parking lot/loose footing thing but enough to wipe out the plastic holder for the CB and CLASS. eBay is already being searched, but has anyone got an idea where I could get another one without getting a second mortgage? Thanks guys (and gals). -
I just wanted to throw a couple of kudos at a vendor I had good dealings with. I just got my RSTD a month or so ago and I missed the backrest I had on my V-Star. I searched and searched and finally found the one I wanted at "Scootworks" I placed the order online and called the next day to see when it would ship. I got a machine and thought that would be the end of that. I've gotten so used to no one returning my calls. Well an hour later a friendly lady called and explained that they didn't have the backrest in stock, but they should have it by Monday and I would have it 2 days later (this was on a Thursday). I never really expect anything when I'm told to expect it, so I was thinking maybe the following Friday I'd have it. Well to my amazement I found it on my front porch the next Monday 2 days quicker than I was told. I like to ***** when I get bad service, so it's only fair I rave a little when the service is good. Is there a "wiring diagram" for the installation of driving lights with a relay somewhere on this site? I have searched and searched but have not located one. I have located a Thread listing several "Tips" but no illustration. Can someone either point me in the right direction or provide a simple drawing showing all the components; driving lights, on/off switch, relay, battery, fuze, grounds (think I've got the all) and how these components would be connected? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am considering this led brake/taillight but would like to replace the red cover with a clear one that will match the turn signals. I have searched but I am having a hard time finding a clear lens for my 05 RSV. Anyone know where I can find one?

Hi! Sorry to sound so dumb, but I have always had problems anytime I have had to get into the front fairing on my 1st gen Venture. I am trying to do the Marshall Mod and put a Firestick on my bike (the coax for my stock antenna has some damage to it so I am replacing the whole thing). Problem is that I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to get into the CB part of the right front fairing. I have searched high and low on the forum to see if there are any pics of this fairing disassembly on here, but to no avail. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Thanks,

The "quote" is one of the great features of this forum, because it shows exactly what the writer is referring to. I figured it was just a matter of copy/paste but it doesn't seem to work that way. I searched but came up empty. What is the trick? Please explain. Thanks
